Poor doomed grapevine...You gotta cover your veggie beds with fencing as well. Deer will jump into anything just circled. But I love the deer. I too love the resale/thrift/junk stores. My house is furnished by them. My weight, much more than yours, yo-yos also. I mostly contribute clothes rather than buy at the thrift store. It is so fun to hear you chat about "stuff" and see you garden. Smiles from me, Second Hand Rose. (It's also a funny song. YT has it.)
I love the deer I just wish they would eat all the food in the woods lol!
Rainy days can be nice in moderation :) I love listening to the rain outside and smelling the rainy air ♥ Thanks for the calming little update video! I also tend to be on the cheaper side with clothes so I relate LOL I also hope they put you under before pulling the teeth cuz I can't imagine being awake for that o_o Good luck and I hope the rain goes away for you!
we had a beautiful sunny day today so i got a lot of outside work done!(which is great because tomorrow is another rain in the forecast day!)
Christine S and Margaret Hamilton - sisters under the skin??? ("Who would think that a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful Wickedness?")
(I have "heard Tell" that entire audiences of high school age students would be Rocked Back in their seating, when she would "Emit her Witchy Cackle.")
I hate the deer! They eat all my hostas, the clematis, day-lillies ,phlox, lilacs. They leave my peonies alone, and the roses, and the bee-balm. I collected hostas, probably had 50, now maybe 7.
I get about half of my clothes from thrift stores. I love the hunt! But I try them on at the store. Not shoes,or underwear. Prices have gone up, though.
I love the thrift store close to me because they are still really low priced, but I have heard that the "big cities" have prices that have gone way way up
I read you need 2 fences because deer don't jump them...don't want to get stuck in between.
We have sunshine today so I rebuilt the potato bed fence, fingers crossed it works at least as well as it has the last few years
Charity/thrift shops, clothes are cheaper where you are,in the uk would be more,I like looking at charity / thrift shops for bric a brac ,ornaments and bought some.
I think I am just very lucky with the local ones, when I go into the bigger cities even up here the prices are higher
There are not many thrift shops in Japan.
Many second-hand shops in Japan deal in brand-name items. They won't take items that are old, dirty, or from unknown brands.
I wear hand-me-downs from my late mother-in-law.
She left behind a lot of clothes.
They're not my taste.
I can't sell them, and it would be a waste to throw them away, so I only wear them around the house.
When I go out, I tend to wear plain clothes.
Mostly black or white.
Mostly jeans.
Most of the thrift stores around here try not to take worn out clothes(stains and rips) but I think everything else they will take
We have opportunity shops in Australia. My favourite place to shop. I get designer jeans eg armani, ralph Lauren , esprit and lee etc.
I love the name of them, opportunity sounds so much nicer than thrift store or flea market!!
@@christines.1546 I t is a good name when you think about it. It gives opportunities to find a bargain, for the item to have another role/life etc 😀
Here in Germany I would buy a new jeans for 40 Euro and a t- shirt for 20 Euro and think it was a really good price. We have thrift stores (love them) and flea markets (love them too) where you have to be lucky to find something though. You pay about half the price there.
1$ is nearly 1€
I have gotten so spoiled with the local thrift store, I now think anything over 3 dollars is far too much to pay for almost anything😅(but I have zero sense of fashion lol, as long as it covers me and is comfortable I am good)
As to fashion I never cared much either. Jeans, Sneakers and a hoody I love most..:-)
Slim fast is still available...amazon or target for instance.
I never think to look online lol...I always forget that is an option!
