- '4' is the third and a concept album by an Italian prog metal band, Soul Secret. Strongly recommend for the fans of major prog metal band like Dream Theater. Since this album, they have evolved their sound further by adding some Jazz ,Latin and Electronics influences and also modernizing it with some djenty guitars and modern synth sounds. Now enjoy!

Outrageous, Spectacular, Awesome...
Finally, the first prog italian band that really shines among many others! Great songs, atmospheres, productions. And great musician! Era ora che la scena metal italiana proponesse qualcosa del genere, sono contento! :-)

this is how i became a fan too, but I discovered Babel first this time and my problem with prog is if im stuck on one album then believe me, im stuck and may not even hear the others. I particularly love the jazzy influence in "4"

Non mais quelle gifle sans exagérer c'est vraiment un des meilleurs album que j'ai pu écouter dans ma vie avec un grosse production et un son impeccable pour une plateforme You Tube. moi qui écoute du métal/hard/prog/ etc ... depuis 40 ans.Ca doit faire 3 ans que je l'écoute ce disque régulièrement et je me demande encore comment ce groupe italien pas vraiment connu a pu composer un truc d'une telle perfection,c'est tellement brillant que je me demande si les dieux ne vous ont pas aidé et me demande également si vous vous rendez compte du niveau de vos compos à ce moment précis.,Un véritable chef d'oeuvre du genre..Bravissimo........
Questo album è FAVOLOSO! Un' OPERA D'ARTE passata molto "inosservata" in confronto a quello che meriterebbe. La prima volta che l'ho ascoltato (cercando su CZcams qualcosa di progressive metal che non avevo mai sentito), sono rimasto così colpito e affascinato che ho comprato il disco circa 3 minuti dopo. Band favolosa, quando torneranno in tour andrò a sentirli sicuramente!

le plus avec Soul Secret c' est le large spectre musical balaye ...écouter ce groupe est une invitation a l'aventure..A chaque virage , un nouveau paysage..alors bien sur tout est dans l'imaginaire , pour mieux être dans l' écoute et profiter du voyage il faut savoir fermer les yeux..Ce groupe est , comme vous le dites tous souvent sur le Tube , awesome..En bon français je vous dis qu'il est bandant..Tiens le plan jazzy la sur My Lighthouse , du superbe travail..

La vos grutural echo a perder tan perfecta cancion
When I heard the jazz flavor in the first song, wow. Fresh album, melodic; very DTish in some parts but enough to be different. Tasteful lead guitar too. The only thing that throws me off a little is the vocalist REALLY sounds like a younger Labrie.

Let me say this... Italians Do it Better!! Italy had a lot of progressive band, like AREA, BMS, Balletto di Bronzo, Alphataurus... and Italy have A LOT of progressive metal bands that rule in this genere... SOUL SECRET ARE AMAZING! Love this guys!!! Grandissimi ragazzi!!! Orgoglio italiano!

I don't get it. I just don't like singers in 99% of prog metal bands. This guy, Damian Wilson, LaBrie... I just find them hard to listen to.
