That's quite amazing! When one thinks of Austria, an amusement park certainly doesn't come to mind.
Yes, it isn't well known, but surprisingly it has been there since 1766, which as an American is kind of crazy to think there was an amusement before the USA even existed.
nice park and weather enjoy

That place looks like a lot of fun. The meal at the end looked delicious!
It is was a fun, similar in some aspects and totally different in others. If you like bacon, you will definitely love roasted pork knuckle.
What a cool place. It looks like fun I’ve never been to Austria. I’d love to go.

Hello friend, here watching and supporting you. Definitely a very nice amusement park. 👍
Thank you for visiting, glad you enjoyed the video.
@@pedrozatravel You’re welcome 😊
If you go to Schweizerhaus, they usually ask you what size pork knuckle you want. One small "Stelze" already can be shared by two people, larger ones easily are sufficient for a whole group. Next to mustard and horse radish you also traditionally order cabbage salad. And the traditional snack are not potato chips but potato pancakes (Erdäpfelpuffer).
Thank you for visiting , I did not see a option for a smaller pork knuckle, although they gave us extra plates to split it up, it is huge. I am not sure what the usual traditional snack is but the menu clearly said those potato chip were a 300 year old traditional snack, the waiter also said this, but I will admit I was just a tourist so I can only speak to what was given to me. Although I will say it was all yummy! 😁
@@pedrozatravel You can't see it on the menu, for this item you pay by weight. Usually the waiter should ask you when ordering what size you want.
Schweizerhaus features traditional Bohemian kitchen - that includes potato pancakes.
I read that potato chips were on offer at Schweizerhaus from 1929 - but really, I never saw them prominently and I have been there for several decades...
300 years - definitely not. Potato chips have only been known since the 19th century. The waiter was telling you some apocryphal tale - not what he actually should have told you: the size of the pork knuckle. ;-)
