Here we are on Exclusive Escargot's farm in Galway Ireland. Getting snails sorted and bagged for an order of fresh Escargot going to London restaurants. This would be a usual day on the farm on order day. So this is a look behind-the-scenes look at a how we do this on a snail farm.

Good Day, I really find your videos helpful. I'm in the process of considering to start my own farm and eventually make a change in my career. Would you recommend this? would I be able to make a living from it? I live in South Africa and work as a agricultural technology teacher but my salary is to low to even mention and our education system is seriously lacking.

Hi Ryan. Does the shipping company require you to put the plastic crate in another container or can you only ship it in the plastic crate as shown in the video? Do they want an extra charge for transporting live cargo? Thanks for sharing your experience.

Good evening, yes we send them in the closed and sealed plastic crates. We don’t pack them in anything only this. We are only sending them to England, so its just across the water from us here. Yes there is always extra charges because its live cargo. Shipping everything this year is a nightmare because the prices have gone up everywhere

No, we never kill anything on our farm here. We breed them and raise them 👍🏻

yes we can ship alive, we work with snail farms in the US, so we know regulated it is. there is a lot of rules in the US 👍🏻
