In fact most German immigration arrived during the late 19th-early 20th centuries, just like all the other immigration waves from Europe. The nazis that came here were just a couple thousand, not more than the number that escaped to the US, for example.

8:49 Argentina is a country of immigrants, just like the United States. At that time, when it received so many immigrants, it was one of the richest countries in the world.
It seems strange because today it is a third world country, but back then the American dream did not refer only to the United States

Fun fact: We were a spanish colony, a decent portion of our people are from spaniard descent mixed with italians, other europeans and natives, it's just that we had a mass migration of 5 million europeans and asians. Adding the fact that we always despised the Spain crown, people just opted to refuse being spaniards and opted to identify as other nationalities.
As for the decline in black people, they actually "erased" themselves, claiming they were white or mixed race, along with marrying and procreting with white people, refusing being of african descent because white people were treated better, despite slavery being abolished quite early at 1850s or so. So yeah, pro-european descent laws and treatment, epidemics in the working class neighborhoods, early wars for territory against neighbor countries (given the favoritism for europeans to get proper jobs and loans to start a business, they had to enlist to feed their families)

The Falklands war was commenced because the Dictator in Argentina wanted to deflect the attention of the population on his failings, also there was a possibility of undersea oil. Didn't think we would bother, wrong, our people needed help and we gave it. They are British subjects, like the rest of us. Forgot about our Welsh cousins. If memory serves me correctly the Welsh went there to do mining.

The Malvinas are within the Argentine marine platform, it was through a war. The English gobernments have been around since the 1700s. The Malvinas actually belong to the indigenous people. No war and violence is true conquest. It is true that there was a dictatorship in Argentina but it is not an excuse to justify the imperialist conquest through arms breaking laws on offshore platforms
