An Irish dance show produced at 1994-1995 by the huge Michael Flatley.
It is not as big as it was in the 90's, but it is still a great show to watch and to be amazed by the music and the tapping talents.
I was really excited, so I am sorry if the video is a bit shaky, it is hard to see your childhood dream becoming real and live in front of you and to stand still to this amazing Irish beats! (; - Věda a technologie

I know audience members aren’t supposed to film but I’m always Super grateful they do because they don’t swap POV every five seconds and it lets you see the steps!
It is actually allowed in this specific show. They even say it before, and I was standing next to the usher while filming this dance at the top of the stairs so I won't disturb anyone. It was my dream since I was a child to watch it live, and this is my favourite piece.
I love choreographed irish dancing and think its beautiful when they all dance together, I wish it was easier to find good dancers like this online
I was lucky enough to watch this when me & the misses visited Ireland. I didn’t really know what to expect from the show but I got the gist of it. It far exceeded anything I might have guessed. It was phenomenal! I would watch it again in a heartbeat. So good. I can not fault any part of it in any way.

The most incredible person of this performance is located at the uppermost right of the screen. Seated behind two different instruments (both the same but very different). Watch him lead the show.
Gr8 homage to the Lord of Dance. Takes me back to the 90s.
The synchronicity of the group in slow motion is awesome! Both principle dancers are wonderfully charismatic. Some say the male lead has a tendency to carry a heavy and unstylish fashion with his arms. Never-the-less, I found his arm expressions to be in sync and appropriately within context, and the style he has, adds a dynamic that effectively accented and embellished his role in what was transpiring. With that said, I could have done without the one yelling part at the end of his solo, but that’s all. (Will refrain from making any comparisons with the large staged Riverdance productions via 1990's. Lets just say you work with what you've got. So it gets a little cozy, I'm okay with that)
The Riverdance Finale is my favorite part of the show and I couldn't agree more with your overview on this!
I saw River dance many times and this Kieran Hardiman is my most favorite. His upper body stability and all movement is really beautiful.

this is one of my favorite groups that I've seen. They look like they're having fun doing it, which makes it fun to watch. Beautiful ♥ Also, I want a video of the two guys at the very end, that looked super fun and interesting! I'm sad that part didn't stay in the video

Try as they may, they will never "equal" or "top" Riverdance of 1995. For that is when "Riverdance" became worldwide entertainment "extraordinaire"; to the "nth" degree. It cast into unbelievable stardom two people; Michael Flatley and Jean Butler; in ONE night that has never happened before. People all over the world fell instantly in love with these "youngsters" immediately.
Sadly, in less than 2 yrs, BOTH of them quit "Riverdance". Plain stupidity on BOTH of their parts, but nevertheless true. But the memories in the minds of millions worldwide; "we" will never forget. In my 88 yrs I have NEVER seen such an "explosive multi-encored entity", into stardom in one night!
No, never before. That night led to multimillionaires; of two of the most dynamic, charisma, ensconced into innate talents, that became indelibly etched in the "hearts, minds and souls" all over the world; that will be there forever.
So "try as they may"...
They are fantastic

Martin Patrick NO some of RIVERDANCE is doing overseas tours, including casting in rhythm of the dance,nothing fake,NO pre recorded taps,this was a Young cast,i danced 20+years with riverdance,LOTD,CT,and now injured i was dancing the night this was filmed,i have a torn Achilles tendon het chose my goodbye dance well,yes small stage,were you in killarney for the other productions?NO?please everyone dont judge
Thanks..Riverdance is celebrating 25 yrs with a new show,hopefully when it's safe to tour again hopefully in 2021,so this the young crop of dancers who will no doubt be stars of the show.very talented young dancers.

Micheal and Jean were young when they were in Riverdance and these young teenagers will someday star in the big production of Riverdance,they went a summer dance camp and danced to the music of Riverdance so they just like Micheal and Jean Butler,they will be with the major company of Riverdance in the near future,.

That female lead dancer reminds me of a fresh faced Jean Butler when she and Micheal were part of the original Riverdance show.
I swear that young female dancer is a Jean Butler lookalike and she is a fresh faced teen dancer.
Before any dancer joins the company of Riverdance they go to a summer dance camp to learn the steps,and if they are good they are called to join the company of Riverdance as members of the show.

No. El que estuvo hace un par de meses en México fue Lord Of The Dance. Son espectáculos diferentes. La última vez que vino Riverdance a México fue en 2006.

@@wolffriendinus Lord of the dance was in my hometown at 2010 and they had a very big stage. They danced with 30 or so people on this evening. THIS STAGE HERE IS TINY!

As a sincere fan, I hate how "sloppy" their recent choreography/dance style is, it looks like lazy attempt to look like they're actually making those tap noise's while pre recording plays in the background, also the stage's are ridiculously small. There used to be almost 40 people in the stage dancing with marvelous grace in a perfect sync like out of this world.... So sad :/ I rememeber how much bigger their show's were infact not so long ago. I wonder what happened during the years in the production...I still love them of course, but I've noticed huge change after 2005-06 show's and 2001-02.

I agree that it is smaller and less impressive, but I believe the sounds are real. You can see if you slow down the video that the taps fits the sound..
I thought it might be fake too just from watching the video on the normal option. My camera takes 50 frame per second so you can slow it down and check. Please share your thoughts afterwards.

I have friends who use to dance in the show, and they have told me that there are some pre recorded taps to help amplify the sound of the shoes hitting the floor . also, if you notice parts of the music in the show have sounds of instruments that aren't on stage like they used to be.(keyboard, guitar...)

Riverdance Finale??? Would you care to elaborate more on that statement?? As far is I know Riverdance are still in operation and have plans to stage a new production to celebrate their anniversary. This looked like an offshoot of the original production and is certainly not meant to be their FINAL SHOW.
Correct Riverdance is celebrating 25 years with a brand new show .

This was quite beautiful and all but the worst part happened at the 5:35 mark………when it ended.
I liked the lead lady, she looked and moved a lot like Jean Butler in the early days, but the guy was definitely no Michael Flatley... just plain sloppy and waving his arms all over. Stage was almost too small for an elementary school play.🤣 All in all it was ok I guess. There will never be another Riverdance Troupe, but I'd sure like to see some of the younger generation put something together!

The lead dancer just can't keep his arms still. Hands swinging everywhere ruin the atmosphere quite a bit in my opinion. Maybe a new trend? I must be old-fashioned?? :/
