When Chester Bennington died, I was devastated because he is my favorite vocalist of all time. His voice was so unique that it could reach my soul and make me feel his happiness, his anger and his pain. I know there are a lot of great vocalists out there, but he was something else. He was on another level. I was always amazed every time I heard Chester sing. Then I found Eddie Berg.
Agreed!I consider Chester to be the best vocalist,for his ability to connect with the audience,to share his own emotions thru a song,his death devastated me.He was the voice of millions ❤ Eddie is next,in my opinion.I'm not comparing them,I'm just saying he's right there,next to Chester, in my soul.And that is huge!

I have been listening to the original on repeat since it came out. I always love the acapella and string versions they release, but this one just hit so much harder than the rest. Maybe it's because I'm going through a lot and feel I can relate to the lyrics or maybe it's how heartbreaking the violin/his screams sound, but I started crying so hard. Imminence's music has begun to touch my soul in ways I didn't know was possible. Thank you, Imminence. 🖤

I love this. It showcases Eddie's abilities, singing, screaming, violin. Then when you listen to the original, it shows what the rest of the band truly brings, to formulate the song into the masterpiece that it is ✌️

How to make perfect the perfection. With only the strings and Eddie's vocals you can really feel the melancholy of the song. I cant wait to watch the One Take version of this song because it has to be epic and heartbreaking.

Eddie has a gift. He can do that high-pitched scream for an art. I'm a girl. And I can do it as well. But under special circumstances... When I feel an absolute fear and despair, when my grief becomes bigger than my body and I feel small and almost like dying. My family's so scared of that scream of mine. I know that my neighbors probably hear it too... that's why when I was broken and sad and I heard Death by a thousand cuts I froze in a place I was standing. It was that same scream. But it wasn't me for once in ma life. It was someone else making that very scream like this guy wanted to free me from all that heaviness inside. Your voice is iconic. It's mesmerizing.
