I know alot of people are asking the same question. But how is Imminence not way more popular??? This is art in its highest form like most of their songs!
This song is brutal and super heavy, but still has some really soft and emotive moments. It's a perfect example of what Imminence are capable of doing, mixing the hard with the soft. They are awesome.
Fuck OFF… this song (hell, the entire album), has NO business being THIS good.. I just experienced the same out of body feeling when the violin hit, as I did when I first heard the AOGHAU album by Architects. And I’m not even done the album yet… this is truly something special..

Architects are always a dope listening experience. Their music has been a huge influence in my life. I'm flying to Philadelphia from New Orleans next week to see their show.

It seems that Eddie was gesticulating very strongly during the recording of this track. Which is definitely excellent and it conveys much more emotions. Especially from the second minute... clearly, as if it drives, like a hammer, straight into the soul. Uuuuu...(I haven’t written comments before, but here... You... I love it when already amazing bands choose to go heavier. It's a formula that rarely fails.
It’s crazy to think that they have turned into one of my favorite bands ever since around five years ago when a ad popped up. And it was the music video for ghost.

I typically listen to deathcore and similar genres, but Chasing Shadows had me hooked on these guys after the first listen. Already one of my favorite bands despite finding them within the past few months.
That violin just gets me everytime. It completes everything.

Come what may is such a beautiful phrase that captures letting go. Very relevant to therapy for me right now.
Freaking phenomenal album on so many levels. There wasn't a single song that wasn't an absolute banger.
Also, "in the reflec--tion" I love the way that's pronounced. I love seeing that side of Eddie's voice. Also the alliteration of "at the mercy of my own disMay" hasn't gone unnoticed :)

Gosto de algumas musicas deles, mas esse album é um dos melhores que já ouvi em toda a minha vida.
“For better or for worse, come what may, I can’t live one more day, at the mercy of my own dismay”. This song to me is about doing what you need to in order to find happiness. For me - after socially isolating myself for one too many years in order to pursue education and career goals I found myself extremely unhappy despite all the success I found. Eventually I said screw it, I’ve achieved enough, I’m doing what makes me happy - playing rugby again after a decade of absence even at the risk of bodily injury. Because - “for better or for worse, come what may, I can’t live one more day, at the mercy of my own dismay”. 🤘.

I just saw them live and it was my first time hearing this song when they performed it and I was absolutely blown away! The breakdowns, the violin solo, the raw emotions, and the drummer just pounding away. So very well done. Great job guys!
