I also absolutely love Helikon-tex. Just like you said everything they make feels bomb proof. You are going to love the swagman roll. It's really is 100% water proof on its outer layer. I enjoy sleeping inside it as a.sleeping bag at night and then put it on like a poncho when I wake up in the cold mornings.
Love you reviews. Keep them coming.

Got one after watching reviews by Dave Canterbury and yourself! As you say, a brilliant piece of kit! Waxed mine over the shoulders with Fjallraven wax and it's held out well against the constant pissing rain we've had this summer! Considering being a full kit wanker myself!
    Cheers!

    Interesting, thank you :)
Seen two times because of the accent (scottish ?) and the fast speaking ^^
(I am belgian and native french speaking so not easy easy ^^)
    Question to be 'sure':
Two times for 'waxing' (so for the waterproofing)?, I understood well ?
What size you bought comparing for your body? Normal size for you or (as I red often for these gear) a size down because it is very large ? (I bought one 1 day ago and not received yet, so I am 'afraid' because I am not so sure and so I bought a L (probably medium is better for me)))

Kit looks barrie, Stuart (or is it Stewart?). I've got the coyote Pilgrim pants and are torn on getting the same coloured smock (dinnae want to be a full-kit wanker like you say) or whether to get a Woodsman anorak in a different colour. Your top and trousers combo kinda reminds me of the US Army Rangers MBDU from WW2, even if the colours aren't quite the same.

Looking at the material the Pilgrim stuff is made out of, I don't see why you shouldn't spray it with waterproofing solutions. Maybe you shouldn't overspray it, but the cloth can handle it. It's mostly cotton and polyester, why would it be a bad thing to spray it?
