Arike will not play in the Olympics at all this year. She could have played for the USA, but she said that was not going to be picked by the Selection Committee and withdrew her name so she wouldn't be humiliated by not getting picked.
Idk about humiliated, more so just not wasting anymore time going to training camps and practices and all that for something she knows isn't going to end in her making the team.
