I was considering Italica but I listened to a few reviews, including yours today.
Sónia gagged when she first sprayed it 😮 but came to love it!
Your experience with such a polarizing fragrance makes me realize that Italica is probably not for me. I don’t want to smell completely like food either.
I do like Lira and Bouquet Ideale.
It’s also my belief that you shouldn’t have to try that hard to like a fragrance!

Hi Leah! I remember you said you were thinking about purchasing Italica. It is a quality and unique fragrance and I can see how people with time and the more they wear Italica will fall in love with the scent, but it's not for me. 😅I have Lira and Gran Ballo and I'm thinking of purchasing Dama Bianca, but Italica is a bit too gourmand for me. Sometimes, I just purchase something because of the hype and I want to be smarter in the future and purchase perfumes that I truly love. It's always great to hear your thoughts. I really enjoy this scent, but if oversprayed can become fatiguing. i think a little goes a long way with this one and i would avoid wearing it in any sort of heat.
Yes, it could be cloying. I do appreciate the scent, but sadly, I'm not the audience for it. It is a complex and quality perfume without a doubt. 😉🙃
