Thank you for these rigging videos! It is amazing how well the sail works when you rig it like this! Downhaul all the way tight. Something that feels weird but apparently the ones making this equipment know how to rig it 😅

Question on old video, but maybe you still answer.
Karo von Tonder explains in her Severne ncx rigging guide that the 3 lower battens should be tightened to the fullest, to get a nice profile in the sail. As the ncx is built that way, mimicking a cambered sail profile. Tried this method and it worked really well, sail feels really stable but powerful.
Do you know does this also work for the Gator sails? Recently bought a 7.5 Gator for light wind sailing.

Thanks for the video. A couple of questions: 1) What is it about the batten pocket that you're looking for when tuning? 2) With the outhaul test you did, what are you looking for?
