On my driving test I drove my dad's 2021 Nissan Pathfinder. At the time he bought it, it had the stock engine in it (3.5-liter v6 with 285 horsepower). However, the day he bought the vehicle he took it and had it twin-turbocharged. He never would tell me what the horsepower was afterwards. I think he was afraid I would get in trouble for abusing the power of his vehicle.
2004 VW Passat, passed it first time and was a manual as I’m from Europe, still driving that car and will keep it on the road for as long as I possibly can, currently got 400000 miles on clock!

My high school had driving class and let us drive for the semester as well as walked us all the way through the testing process. It was all free and that's how I got my drivers license when I was a first semester freshman. My dad also taught me how to drive in his 1962 Jeep when I was in grade school. I still have that Jeep today.
1:21 it is five past a hairy hand. I took my test a couple years back in my 98 Audi A4. It had a fancy inbuilt sunroof and a 10 disc cd changer as stock. It however didn't have AC. In the summer you either got warm air or hot air. Opening all windows and the sunroof while drinking a lot of coke made long road trips bearable, lol.

Im from Germany and Im genuenly shocked how easy you get a license in the US vs in Germany. In Germany the license is meanwhile costing around 2500 Euros which is around 2800 Usd. It takes months do to and requires theoretical and practical lessons.

I turn 16 in April of ‘23. For my test, I’m gonna end up driving a Mazda CX-5. Fully loaded. Turbocharged V4, white leather seats, sport mode. Gorgeous metallic blue paint job.
Kid actually seems really nice and respectable. Glad he got to experience this.

I know this is 5 years old but this has got to be the best example of literally how tests in the U.S are literally a joke. I love the 'can you imagine' comments, the one I would love to add is 'can you imagine if the 17 year old taking the test inadvertently moved down and killed 10 people on the pavement because he hit the accelerator instead of the brake.

My high school had driving class and let us drive for the semester as well as walked us all the way through the testing process. It was all free and that's how I got my drivers license when I was a first semester freshman. My dad also taught me how to drive in his 1962 Jeep when I was in grade school. I still have that Jeep today.

I took my test a couple years back in my 98 Audi A4. It had a fancy inbuilt sunroof and a 10 disc cd changer as stock. It however didn't have AC.
In the summer you either got warm air or hot air. Opening all windows and the sunroof while drinking a lot of coke made long road trips bearable, lol.
'Acceleration was a little jerky.' If his toe twitched they would have been in the next county. He probably did a smoother job than most experienced drivers would do with that drivetrain.

Im from Germany and Im genuenly shocked how easy you get a license in the US vs in Germany. In Germany the license is meanwhile costing around 2500 Euros which is around 2800 Usd. It takes months do to and requires theoretical and practical lessons.
