Why didn't you add Ashen Capital? I mean the answer is probably Marika's Hammer, but still just wondering why.
@@redbirb1571probably just grouped it in with regular leyndell because there's only like 3 weapons added with ashen and they're not as good
In haligtree you can get the longhorn to and as you say in the video it is better

@Handlehosyler don't forget about the elevator for False King Allant
Currently doing an RL1 +0 regionlocked run, this literally couldn’t have dropped at a better time
Some of these can’t be used at lv1 but I definitely wish you luck
@@youwy There are so many ways you can boost your stats in ER which is amazing. And Radagon's soreseal can be acquired so early in the game pretty much gives you 15 strength at least and 22 two handed. Open world really makes those kind of run fun
@@user-xv7dl4hn1dyeah. but you still literally cant use some of these

I really like your videos because you focus on the PvE side of things. I'd always look up rankings on weapons and only see PVP. Thanks for being the guy I can rely on because I'm pretty much strictly a PvE player in all souls games.
Nice video, Youwy. Alabaster Lord’s Sword was surprisingly good, given that it appears somewhat mediocre at first glance.
I love the work you put into these videos
Limgrave - I WAS going to get mad that the winner wasn't the Great Epee but... uhhh... yeah, Bloodhound's Fang is pretty baller. Can't get mad about losing to that. It DOES work well with spellcaster builds in a way, tho. If you're going the buff route because even at minimum stats, the fang WILL perform pretty well. So, especially if you want to play around with Bloodflame blade and whatnot, you can just go Faith and it'll work fine just on raw upgrades for at least the whole of NG
Weeping Peninsula - Funny Anchor definitely a good choice, but it's also where you can early farm for Guardian Swordspear
Siofra River - No notes. Dragon Halberd just half-wins the game for you once you equip it. Delightful weapon to use. Only with it was easier to pick up early, that Dragonkin can be tricky to kill if you're just starting
Liurnia - Agreed that Altar is kind of a separate area, that really only has the Moonlight Greatsword. Half expected the Nightrider's Glaive to take it, but won't complain as I love the SONAF
Caelid - never actually played with the Poker and have no strong opinions on anything else in that area? Best Caelid Weapon is Lion's Claw, I guess. lol. There IS the Godslayer Greatsword down in th Divine tower, tho
Altus - Again, I guess I agree with Ordovis, though half surprised the Great Stars didn't take the whole thing
Gelmir - Scavenger's is kind of no brainer. Also Raptor Talons is Altus, isn't it? On the Sage's Cave?
Leyndell - I'm a gransax enjoyer, but this was no surprise
Snowfield - I kind of want to say you could give this to the Albinauric Bow because, despite bow, it's still kind of best in class, if barely
Was surprised Elphael and Haligtree were counted separately when, say, Caria Manor was just Liurnia. Hand of Malenia should be buffable (toxic opinion but it's kinda true)
Shout out to magma wyrm's scalesword for liurnia too.
Moonveil is great for a Dex/Int build. It is an upgraded Uchigatana, and is incredible. The Frayed blade from Dark Souls 3 is obviously the prototype, and it’s made from the soul of Midir, the Superboss of the last city. Couldn’t believe it when I saw it. It made me realize that Elden Ring was going to have far more overall power than Dark Souls, as you can get it in potentially your second area, if you can beat the boss…
Edit: you missed Albinaric’s Bane, the Sacred Relic Greatsword. Love that weapon for farming.
Literally an uchigtana buffed with scholar's armament outforms moonveil 💀
Great list!
I dunno about Pike cause it looks the most uninteresting ever, however, Banished Knight's Greatsword drops in Stormveil. The moveset is just built different.
ds2 boss weapon tier list please !
8:30 power stancing bleed infused twinblades does proc it even faster. The best jumping builds use those not scavenger swords.
Now beat the game using the worst weapons for each area.
I agree with most. It is personal taste anyway but for me:
Caelid: Venomous Fang. It is really good on meta levels, but at really high levels (250+) the BLOOD Venomous Fang is the highest DPS weapon in the entire game
Mountaintops: Yeah, cringe i know, but for me it is still Rivers of Blood. In its current state it is UNDERRATED. On Meta levels is the highest DPS arcane weapon for clearing packs of medium sized mobs. At high levels (200+) it surpasses nagakiba/uchi with double slash even on 1vs1.
Altus: Eleonora's Poleblade. It can infinitely stunlock Malenia and any other mob of that size, while dealing insane DPS.
I agree with everything else.
Venomous Fang highest DPS weapon at really high levels? That's interesting to think about. I assume that's with dual-wielding two of them?
As for Rivers of Blood, it does have great AoE potential but I think Hand of Malenia has even better AoE that also lets you evade attacks with its weapon skill, and Dragonscale Blade is just cooler, and has the unique mix of lightning damage and frostbite that fewer enemies resist compared to RoB's fire and bleed.
I like Eleonora's Poleblade but I think in many places its usefulness drops somewhat due to how much its weapon skill moves you, making it dangerous to use near falls. Great weapon though. Probably the best twinblade.
At high levels, you might as well go for quality nagakiba with Bloodflame blade. Higher overall damage and better bleed. Double slash on nagakiba also has similar range and stance damage at 1/3 of the fp cost.
Also the fact that you can make a similar/better performing RoB clone means that its usefulness plummets in comparison to a unique weapon like the death ritual spear
@@zanex8547 I see your point and its valid. However at higher levels Quality Nagakiba + Bloodflame Blade still cannot deal higher damage than RoB. I have a 450 NG+7 character with 80STR/99DEX/80FTH and 99 ARC. I tested them both (the nagakiba buffed with bloodflame blade), at a very wide range of opponents and RoB dealt higher damage 9 out of 10 times (Omens were an exception), without doing anything to enhance its fire damage (no fire scorpion charm, no flame tear etc.). And also it bled faster. Anyway that's besides the point. I use RoB as a swap weapon for packs of trash mobs. It clears them in a way Nagakiba + Double Slash never could (much higher AoE, goes through shields). But i do see your point for Death Ritual Spear being more unique, thus deserving more the spot as the best weapon of the area.
Good choices, I agree with basically all of them
In the Haligtree I would honestly go for Loretta's War Sickle. Yea tge AoW is nothing to write home about and kinda falls short of Moonveil and Wing of Astel as a Dex/Int weapon, it is still a Halberd, which imo have the best 2h moveset in the game, and Loretta has the better Halberd moveset with the fast diagonal slashes, and spin2win heavies. Idk I like it.
dragons dogma has cursed me i thought that was the map for it in the thumbnail. thought it is odd they look similar if you started in consecrated snowfields
Ghostflame ignition is such a dope name
If you say the longhorn is better than the greathorn, why would you have the greathorn as the best weapon from haligtree when you can get both there?
I forgot to mention but it was just for the weapons that are first accessible in that area. Being that the longhorn is first acquired in leyndell I didn’t consider it a haligtree weapon
Gonna have to say the uchigatana is better than bloodhound fang. Faster swings makes hemorrhage happen faster than the fang. Plus, nothing beat the metal AF bloody slash.
Upon careful examination and thoughtful consideration, it becomes abundantly clear that my perspective diverges significantly from the assertions espoused within the confines of the video presentation under scrutiny. With an unwavering commitment to intellectual integrity and a fervent dedication to discerning truth from conjecture, I find myself compelled to articulate, in no uncertain terms, my profound disagreement with the content disseminated therein. It is not merely a matter of subjective preference or arbitrary inclination but rather a conscientious appraisal of the evidence, logical coherence, and ethical implications embedded within the video’s narrative framework.
First and foremost, it is incumbent upon me to underscore the foundational premise upon which my dissent rests: namely, the veracity and reliability of the information put forth. As an avid proponent of rigorous empirical inquiry and epistemological rigor, I am compelled to subject any purported claims to the crucible of critical scrutiny, lest we unwittingly succumb to the pernicious allure of misinformation or ideological bias. Regrettably, upon subjecting the video’s assertions to such scrutiny, I am compelled to conclude that they fail to withstand the rigors of scholarly scrutiny, exhibiting a distressing propensity for logical fallacies, selective interpretation of data, and a conspicuous absence of corroborative evidence.
Moreover, my dissent is not confined solely to matters of factual accuracy or empirical validity but extends to the broader ethical and normative dimensions implicated by the video’s content. Indeed, I find myself deeply troubled by the moral implications inherent in certain assertions made therein, which appear to perpetuate harmful stereotypes, promulgate discriminatory attitudes, or otherwise engender societal harm. As a staunch advocate for social justice and ethical responsibility, I cannot in good conscience countenance any discourse that runs counter to these foundational principles, regardless of its ostensible rhetorical appeal or superficial plausibility.
Furthermore, it behooves us to interrogate the epistemological assumptions and methodological frameworks underpinning the video’s construction, for it is often in the subtle nuances of discourse and the hidden biases of presentation that the seeds of intellectual distortion are sown. Indeed, upon subjecting the video to a deconstructive analysis informed by postmodern sensibilities, one is compelled to confront the myriad ways in which power dynamics, cultural hegemonies, and discursive formations intersect to shape the contours of knowledge production and dissemination. From this vantage point, it becomes patently evident that the video in question is not merely a neutral conduit for the transmission of information but rather a site of contestation wherein competing narratives vie for dominance, often at the expense of marginalized voices and alternative perspectives.
In conclusion, it is with a heavy heart and a steadfast commitment to intellectual honesty that I register my dissent with the video in question. While I harbor no ill will towards its creators nor seek to impugn their motives, I cannot in good conscience acquiesce to the propagation of ideas that I believe to be fundamentally flawed, morally suspect, or epistemologically unsound. My dissent is not a mere quibble or trivial disagreement but rather a principled stance grounded in a deep-seated commitment to truth, justice, and the pursuit of knowledge. May this humble act of dissent serve as a catalyst for dialogue, introspection, and ultimately, the advancement of human understanding.
I didnt understand a single sentence...
And i thought i was fluent
Did you include the Capital into Altus? Because I think Bolt of Granseax would have been a honorable mention.
This is good
Question, which is the best straight sword for non somber stones? I know the regalia is really good but I’m not running arc this run
Interesting video idea! I have a suggestion, which is to rank the best unique weapon movesets.
Or the best ash of war you can use when out of FP.
I have 4 different characters, all different builds ready to go for the dlc and there’s still 3 months left 😅
Great video as always my boy
Very informative, but what about the worst weapon of each region? (and how they can be improved)
-DLC ain't arriving soon enough-
1:05 someone please explain to me wtf just happened here?
He DEAD-ASS just stands there like an op villain getting hit by the heroe’s most mighty attack, tanking it, wiping his cheek and saying “Was that supposed to hurt?”
Maybe this is my pvp bias showing, but I'd argue the crescent moon axe for best Stormveil weapon
Don't you get the Bloody Helice at the Consecrated Snowfield? I think it's better than the Golden Order Greatsword.
You missed ashen capital. There are a few weapons you can technically only get there like the sceptre of the all knowing, Marika’s hammer, and the Sacred Relic sword
Sacred Relic Sword is probably one of the top 3 best weapons in the game despite being Holy damage.
So which weapon is the best in the entire game? I feel like u say that for every weapon 😂 and the death ritual spear has a d scaling in intelligence lol so id say the int scaling is pretty bad, its mostly a dex weapon but i must say this list is pretty accurate
Youwy whats your build for the nagakiba from your best katana vid
Meet the minimum requirements for the Nagakiba and go all into arcane with an occult infusion using blood blade AoW. You only need around 20 mind and endurance as the weapon skill is pretty cheap. If you want to use spells then spec into a little faith and use the dragon communion seal
@@youwy appreciate it love the contents mate, btw what spells would you recommend
@@Edward03874probably best to just have enough levels into Faith to use Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength or Howl of Shabriri if you don’t wanna focus more on using offensive spells
are you still thinking of making more "op in 45 minutes" videos for more build types in the game, would be cool to see
Imma make more guide videos like that closer towards the DLC release as I want to cater around that.
Stormveil - Brick hammer
Alabaster lords sword is such an odd weapon, because this game has such an R2 meta, its easy to overlook the insane dps the weapon can have with just normal charged heavies and light attacks, and its scaling is so weird. Its a sleeper hit of a weapon.
Wait you choose envoy’s great horn over the iron greatsword??
I don’t consider it a haligtree weapon as you first can get it in leyndell
Hmm, that's weird. In your best damage types video you said that Bolt of Gransax is probably the best weapon in the entire game, yet here you gave the best weapon in Leyndell to Star Fist? I'm sure the Star Fist (and most fist weapons) is amazing, especially dual-wielded, but I don't think almost any melee weapon comes close to the immense utility, stagger/knockdown potential, and raw damage of Bolt of Gransax's Ash of War. There are a lot of areas where there are tough enemies in front of ledges that you can instakill with Gransax by hitting them with Ancient Dragon Lightning and knocking them off the edge, including rather large enemies such as Leonine Misbegotten and those big mage guys patrolling the bridges before Loretta in Miquella's Haligtree.
Also, no mention of my boy Morgott's Cursed Sword? That weapon's amazing! It's a curved greatsword with innate bleed so it has a great moveset, the Ash of War has good range and the run your character does when you use it can stagger/interrupt weaker enemies, and it creates a wide explosion of bloodflame that can hit entire groups of enemies. Definitely one of the best Dex weapon options in the game, even without a heavy Arcane investment. Give it a try sometime if you haven't already.
I would've included the Reduvia as an honorable mention in Limgrave, but otherwise a great vid. Thanks to whoever gave you the idea for it.
We need the best weapon depending on your zodiac sign next

Bro was using Piercing Fang(does more damage through shields, so better for pvp) instead of Impaling Thrust(does more stance damage, so better for pve)for the Pike 💀
Informative but the range can be interesting in pve
Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear is better than the Blasphemous Blade, dont @ me...
Blasphemous blade is literally easy mode
@@Marika_ER So is the Mohgwyn's... whats your point?
The only thing that the Blasphemous Blade does that Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear doesnt do better is the healing but lets be real here, past your first run through anywhere and youre already not taking much damage and not worried since you know exactly where the next grace is... not to mention how close tjry are anyway! and who tf would risk s boss fight in orfer to try to heal from the Ash of War?
@@vitorvena nope, the spear actually takes timing. And it doesn't even work against quite a few bosses, including the final boss. Meanwhile blasphemous blade is only bad against like God skins
@@Marika_ER Tf do you mean timing? Thats also true for the Blasphemous Blade... and if we are talking about the Ash then im sorry but a massive 360 degree AoE that goes through walls, floors and ceilings that has hyperarmor and staggers even a Waterfowl Dance on a bleed proc requires you to atleast use 1% of your brain power in exchange for all of that then its still a better weapon, even if harder to use like you imply...
Something being easy is a plus yes but thats doesnt put it ahead of other objectively better options just because of that, after all, no casul is going to abusive every last bit of power out of those weapons to really push their limits and see which is better.
Would've thought he'd have run out of ideas by now
Nah I’ve got plenty to last until the DLC

Vykes War Spear is mid. It's only good because it's a great spear. If you have a faith dex build it's not a bad option, but even tree spear or the lance is arguably a better option, and the ash of war on silurias tree is good enough on its own to arguably make it better than vykes war spear, at least in pve. But tbf i think youwy always goes off of pve
@@doofusrick5998 You proved my point....
Vyke’s spear is not good whatsoever. Atleast for PVE. So much better options in Liurnia. Iron Balls, Nightrider Glaive could’ve also been mentioned.
People saw that one horrible Rusty video and think Vyke’s is the greatest weapon in the game when that is so far from the truth.
