the torrent for elden beast was long overdue

Poise generation speed means hyper armor at certain frames of a skill. So like imagine how some ashes of war cannot be interrupted once you have made far enough into the animation. However that same skill could be Interupted earlier in the animation. So Increasing poise generation speed means you will have that hyper armor earlier on the animation

I tested Milenias great rune.. Normal flask gives 810 HP back now it is 688, that is 85% With 14 flasks you lose 1708 HP, more then 2 flasks.. hm..

I feel like Elden Beast is going to get a buff at some point to compensate for it's lack of challenge against Torrent. We'll just have to see what FromSoft thinks about that. But I'm happy they allow players to ride Torrent when facing the Elden Beast. Not only does it make gap-closing less annoying, but it feels climactic in an almost "full-circle" kind of way.

First Rusty and his raisin slander, now you...am I the weird one for finding it _common_ that Torrent tanks hits for me? Or is it just because I'm the last one who always fights on horseback every time the option is available?

Poise generation speed probably means you have to hit them more times before staggering. They really should just use simpler terminology lol. Wrecking the dlc isn't what they want us to do. “Poise generation speed” is how FAST you get your hyper armor during certain skills. So some hyper armor is on the first frame, some skills don’t get hyper armor until the actual attack comes out, etc. Poise generation speed changes the timing basucally

I didn't use any of these. Makes sense they nerf the best weapons to encourage people to test other things.

I am guessing the dex scaling is probably improved keen/lightning for ashes of war that are normally typed as that, like Lightning Slash or Sword Dance

poise generation speed is a build up of poise. like at the begining of the attack animation it does less poise. at the end of the attack animation is does more poise. this would be my guess lol.

Test out moonveils travel distance in the ash. It wasn’t mentioned but it’s way shorter. Not much past the blade now

Why in the heck would they nerf anything knowing the dlc is going to be more difficult smh, that is ridiculous like for real!

They should have also boosted up some underused/bad weapons to create a buzz in the balance and make some stinker weapons more interesting and viable. (Aside from the little kiss on the cheek they gave whips, flails and 1h axes)

Beat Melenia in two tries with mimic and the blasphemous blade after being hyped for her fight the whole game a bit of a letdown. Unfortunately it had to be nerfed, it was my pocket ace though. Looks like I'll have to get good now...

Fucking game is single player. Who the hell cares if some weapons are OP. Let people enjoy the game how they want! They did pay $60 and $40 for base and dlc game.

i cant believe all those weapons like serpent bone blade still arent infusible I literally could not care less about all these little nerfs when so many weapons are basically unusable cuz they cant be infused

The recent items tab is active, you just have to activate it in the setttings.

I am not a fan of nerfing all these weapons to the ground. Some builds are literally unplayable now, I tried some out today. They really want to focus the dlc weapons and that tactic is so despicable. PVP will be dominated by what was alredy shown in the previews. Making the not so flashy old weapons even weaker is lame on their part. Better prepare to pay 40 bucks if you want to play online from now. They could have atleast balance online and offline seperately

You know they nerfed the Comet build when they heard people were using it to cheese Mohg. Folks were posting up summon signs with names like “Let me comet him.” Miyazaki put a stop to those shenanigans, LOL. Gotta beat Mohg honest to get into the lands of shadow…
