      I couldn't have said it better myself. For show and tell, maybe his kids could just bring him into class he could teach them all how to slam dope into their necks too......great role model!
      He may be an interesting interview, but far from the great man everyone says he is. Just being nice in messages here won't make him the beacon of light they all say they see in him. He just spent the last hour telling everyone what type of man, and what type of father he is. Great to be supportive, but dont fool yourselves, he'd rob and kill anyone for 6 dollars in a heart beat. Great man? Hardly. Could he change, possibly, but if you know about Fentanyl, you know if your slamming a gram or so straight into your jugular, you've already signed your death warrant. Hope he can change, yrs, but I'm not going to fool myself, that's for sure! Sorry if I piss on anyone's poo-poo party, but this is exactly why this country is in its current state. He got clean soooo many times, yet straight back to the needle every time, instantly. Sorry my friends, it's a wrap

      Yes, then and while inside flopping like fish, they say they found the God and they're going to change, "I swear to God!" Jailhouse religion! Then, the minute they get released, they go straight back to the dope! Then they complain about how bad their live is, and if they could change it, they would!!!! They just were sober! They were locked up for months or even years....and were sober!!!!! They had every change and opportunity to change, yet almost all of them do not, they go right back too it. He did have a way shitty upbringing, and no support whatsoever, but as smart as he seems, and as articulate he is, he had opportunity after opportunity to make a better choice and decided against it. Hell, he had 2 kids, a wife, worked 2 jobs. If that's not the best opportunity that will ever come his way....well, it's a wrap then. All the bleeding hearts on here saying what a wonderful and great guy he is....your his next victim! He cant wait to meet each of you! Wake up America, the bleeding hearts are enabling this type of lifestyle that is destroying this country. He would rob and kill you if he had to for a $10 fix without hesitation. If that's a definition of a great and wonderful man, then this country may as well kiss it goodbye.

I speak and declare the opposite of what you say, I say he's a survivor and a warrior and he will make it to enjoy a better life. Like he said in his interview Respect is everything. And you always take care of your own. I love this dude with all my heart. And I'm gonna miss him every day he is gone. We all have our flaws, and it takes us to places we don't want to go. And sometimes when we want to get back, it's too late. Etc and you're only halfway into the first day. You still have probably 3 more weeks of until you feel somewhat normal again
      And you eventually say F IT. I can't take this anymore....and give in
      It's like having an insane case of food poisoning...mixed with covid.. and your doctor is like.. I have this pill that will make you feel 100% better and back to normal and you say no.

    I've been to rehab twice, detoxed 4 times, and hospitalised several times from OD & suicide attempts. Unless you beg for rehab, you're kept alive & released, or, (in my case 9/10 times) put in the mental health ward.
    I got my trauma from 4-5 years old onwards. Family & family friends. It kept going through my teenage years while I was using & drinking, from friends & strangers.
    I watched 3 people I ended up calling my best friends, dying from an OD, while we were in rehab. It only takes 1 time. Every time you use it can be your last.

But when their lives change & they no longer wish to have their stories plastered all over the net I hope he's finding it in his heart to at least work with them in may'be blurring their faces & changing their names not only for their privacy but for a few it might even be for their safety or they've had children & they're trying to protect them.
    He could always say their names have been changed for their protection, we'd understand & still watch.

    I was once in a hospital for a check-up: tore a muscle around my rib cage in the gym. A woman on a bed across from me kept twisting and falling off the bed, landing hard on concrete floor. The nurses got pissed and yelled at her for not staying in bed each time she fell. Nobody seemed to care. I thought that was crazy. Only much much later did another nurse explain to me the patient was a typical dope-sick druggie who nurses didn't much care for because they always ended up in the hospital multiple times. This was before Narcan. I understand Pablo's explanation perfectly about why addicts don't go to the hospital.

    • @roseconsumption
      @roseconsumption Před 2 lety +3

      lol "addicts don't go to the hospital" is woefully inaccurate. The number of times I've been called by addicts in the middle of the night telling me they've suffered some terrible injury and have No OtHeR rIdE to the hospital. I took them the first couple times. I stopped when I realized it was just to try for pills. The reason addicts don't go to the hospital when they're suffering problems from opiates is because they're afraid the hospital will keep them for a few days aka without dope (staph infection in particular I can think of), and they don't drop off ODing bodies because they don't want to have to answer questions. It's certainly not because hospital staff doesn't treat them well enough, though I don't doubt they have a rougher time garnering sympathy.

      for about 90-180 days and then I start the process all over again. it is truly a poetic love/hate relationship i have with opiates and they have taught me a lot. you pay for every high with a low. there is no free lunch. give as you expect to get. addiction has increased my empathy and truly made me more self aware and gave me a lot of struggle and will. it gives me fight. it gives me resilience. it gives me insight. i choose to look at it in that way and i accept what i am. hope all you do too.
