  • This afternoon I decided to share my favorite parts of the Honda CBR300R. I know many people visit my channel to gain information about bikes they are looking to buy, so I figured I would talk about the best parts of mine. I hope this helps and is somewhat enjoyable. Have a great day!

    Keep this bike between 4K-8k rpm and it will live for ever! Everybody that gets one hops straight on the interstate and melts the engine! No engine will live long at 9krpm for very long. If you just have to ride at 90mph all the time get a 15 tooth front sprocket and it will still take it. Just gotta keep the R’s down on these! It’s a town bike a beginner bike not a screaming 600cc that can go to 15k rpm!

    CBR300R or Yamaha R3 is more than enough bike for most sensible riders 90 percent of us. Just because you can get a faster bike does not mean you should. Most riders with 600's and above are in way over their riding ability. Those bikes should only be bought by highly skilled riders. Most of us are no where near the skill level to safely ride those higher power bikes. If you can keep up with a rider like V Rossi then congrats the rest of you should save your money and stay safe on a 300 or smaller.

      Kind of a double edge sword. I say the 300 is too small and 600 is to much. My 500 is enough that I can get on it if i need to in order to avoid being in a bad spot but not enough to power wheelie whenever I pin the throttle

    • @fohz0710
      @fohz0710 Před měsícem

      I wouldn't say the 300 is too small it just depends on what you using for and where, 300 is a perfect starting point but you shouldn't go higher than 600 when starting out

    I have a 2018 CBR300R that's black and has more red strips than yours with a gear shifter censor. it is a fantastic starter bike! however mine is all stock and I'm looking to upgrade the stock exhaust and handle bars time soon.

      How is it for comfortability? And like freeway/mountain worthy? I’ve been seriously looking into getting this bike

    • @mrbishop833
      @mrbishop833  Před 2 lety +1

      @@dylenspain-brist8216 Thanks for the comment man! It is a decently comfortable bike. It's important to understand that it is a sport class bike though, so you will usually get more comfort from something in the cruiser/standard class. I will say that in the community as a whole, Honda seems to do a good job with comfort more so then the other top brands.
      Regarding highway and mountain use, it is a small bike and not meant for that type of high speed riding. I have made numerous videos on my channel now talking about highway riding and how well the bike does with it. I cannot speak for mountainous areas as I live in a flat area.
      Hope this helps!

    • @alexdennison3136

      @@dylenspain-brist8216 It's super comfortable, it will be as good as you are at riding in the mountains, but as far as the freeway goes, I don't recommend taking it there. To go highway speeds, the bike vibrates like crazy. Going 80mph, you will feel it in your entire body after you get off. That's my biggest complaint. It isn't built to withstand the crazy RPMs of highway speeds.

    Hey bro when you put slip on on your 300 did it require an ecu tune afterwards or throw an engine light? did it effect the power or engine at all? I want to get a slip on but I don't want to anything on the engine to get messed up, thanks!

    What exhaust did you put on? And do you have a link to it? The stock exhaust just doesn't sound right to me. And I've had my bike for over 6 months. Spring is coming and I'd love to do a slight change and enjoy the sound even more.
