- Robert Downey Jr. And Val Kilmer, The stars of the action-comedy, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang interview each other with questions from viewers and throw in a few questions of their own.
- Krátké a kreslené filmy
i come back here about once a year and just rewatch this classic. they are literally trying to outsnark each other
Or perhaps OutStark each other
Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark interviewing each other... what can be better...???
Bruce Wayne
hahaha.....but, have YOU ever save a whole city from a nucl- oh wait....never mind. you're right.
Arturo Montana val kilmer IMO actually did a good job as batman.
@@raferalstonisgoat4457 You know, for what he was given, I thought Kilmer did a fine job as Batman. And reportedly he kind of gave up halfway through filming because he saw the direction the movie was going, so that makes him look good.
"Hi hunny bunny." They didn't even start the questions and I just wanted to end this fantastic interview right there.
Pulp Fiction reference ?
Yes
its like having two sarcastically funny Tony Stark's in one room! Seriously, this is perhaps the most ive ever seen RDJ laughing his socks off so much that he's flipping out in his chair. The chemistry between these two is just adorably bromantic! I really hope they get to do more movies together!
yeah...i know.....though i dont know why :( a shame really
oh...awww :(
he replaced val?
nvm
ah ....lol
One of the most underrated, best movies of all time.
EXACTLY
Its perfect
I agree.
I agree!
Absolutely 💯
I lost it 27 seconds in at "honey bunny"
I lost it at this exchange:
Val (unprompted, out of nowhere): you have a record out, robert
Rdj: no, it bombed
Val: Well u dooooo!
So tragic about Val Kilmer. Such a talent. Just watched his self titled documentary. Life can certainly deal you a tough hand. Wishing him the best wherever he is and prayers for his health to improve.
Val is one of the few who can stand up to Rdj sarcasm and wit.
You noticed that too.. it feels like Kilmer can catch up the wit or least flow with it. Also if you watch the movie Kilmer seems like he’s the big brother to rdj
@@haloed-hero also he supported him on set like he didn't drink any alcohol because rdj had a problem with it and etc
@@robotdowney I don't know that but that's a cool fact
Even outwit.., here and there ...
None of this was awkward. I found it very clear that they were being funny. I love the interview.
+Ashley Williams you should watch KKBB with the commentary. I cant watch the movie without it anymore. It feels like I'm betraying my friends! Its basically like this interview only completely unhinged with a smooth shane black in the middle.
@@kaihG i need to do this asap
@@apseudonym you wont regret it
@@kaihG I'm so so late to this but where can I find this?? I want to watch it so bad
@@simp4frankcastle566 the dvd or tumblr director’s commentary
0:23 "Hi Robert"
"hi honey bunny"
HOW CUTE IS THAT?! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?!! PLSS ROBERT
This is like capturing lightning AND thunder in a bottle.
Couldn't stop laughing during all the snarky, yet thoughtful exchanges between these two excellent artists.
I don't know how anybody could interpret this fun interview as an indicator that they don't get along or are unable to work together. I think these guys are genuine kindred spirits, intellectually jesting with nonchalance that only friends can do.
I particularly liked seeing Kilmer express how he wants to portray Mark Twain one day, because now he has, and can be seen as Mark Twain in the upcoming Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.
"Do you even remember my characters name?" "Valerie" I died at that part.
I think they're flirting with each other.
These two are beautiful people and they are beautiful together. I love that they're so in tune with each other.
Billie4Mozzarella both are greats actors and good in humors
Val: "I've been accused to being possessed, Oliver Stone's been saying that stuff..." Robert Downey: "...Well..."
Lol...what a funny, intimate dynamic between these two. They've both had many ups and downs in their careers...definitely can relate to one another.
Batman and Iron Man!
They have great chemistry really look like they have a nice bromance. I cracked up when rdj called val honey bunny. Lol
Poor Val, he doesn’t deserve all of the trouble he’s going through right now
I didn't know what you were talking about so I looked it up. And now I wish I hadn't. Thats just awful.
@@raw2388 he sick
This was hilarious from beginning to end... such dry wits, both of them
RDJ has chemistry with all of his co-stars! Val Kilmer is funny & great as well! 👌
Val's ability to keep a straight face through most of this, is making me grind my teeth.
I lost it at, "your odor".
Fascinating watching these two guys.
"Well, you do." Val to Robert about his record out. Val is so sweet and funny, I hope his cancer is better and will do great performances in movies ahead. I have always loved Robert too. Good team! :) XOXO
+Nikki Breanne "Thank you all for your love and support. There's a rumor I'm unwell again and in hospital which is totally untrue. I was in to verify I have no tumor or infection of any kind which was verified by the very caring experts at UCLA." -Val Kilmer from October 2015
+MikeAvenger08 Wow, I don't know what to say to that, but thank you. :) I read about Top Gun 2, sounds exciting! :)
+Nikki Breanne You're welcome Nikki :)
Pray for val. Love always
"Magical Mark Twain." :D
Benni Marie “Funny...Tragic.”
It was really fascinating to watch this interview and witness the fun, easy-going chemistry between these guys. Val and RDJ are two incredibly talented actors, who were among the biggest stars in the 90's. I was really looking forward to seeing them work together for the first time, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang did not disappoint ! The film is just too good.
I find it extremely satisfying when producers get the casting of a movie just right, and KKBB is one of those rare gems where the casting could not have been more perfect !
I love how Robert acts like a big kid wich makes him fun
Honestly, this was amazing to see, never saw them together in an interview, etc before and they clearly get each other's humor. But the best part of this is knowing that despite the hard couple years that Robert has just been through, this was just when his career was for real getting back on track, and to see him on stage now, as the heart of the MCU, just so amazing. What a life Downey has lived, and so no wonder he has so much depth he can draw on to play his roles. So many celebrities don't have that once they are successful, they ether say successful, or something happens and they lose it all and it becomes sad often to see that, but Downey, such a great guy, seriously seems like a decent and thoughtful guy(yea that is me showing a bro crush) and then to see Downey rebirth not only his career from really help bring all of the MCU into existence at the same time... Iron Man was the first superhero movie that I felt was as good as the imaginary world I created as a kid reading those comic books.
And Kilmer, honestly some of my all time favorite movies/roles as well. "I'm your huckleberry is my favorite all-time one-liner in an action movie, and such brilliant memories of Real Genius, Top Gun, Willow etc as a kid.
yea this was awesome to see, glad it was posted!
It almost felt like sitting at the table during Thanksgiving with Robert and Val. Brilliant interview of sorts..I would love to just hang out with those guys.
Two of the best actors of their generation. Lot's of levity...pretty silly dudes...neither one appears to be taking himself very seriously, yet they are both very serious about their craft. Sad there seems to be so much bashing Kilmer these days...I've acted a bit and the director isn't always right...sometimes there is a reason why an actor will fold up the script and make it into a little paper hat, like say Brando once did during Apocalypse Now. Kevin Spacey is a very respected and remarkable actor and he has high praise for Kilmer. Both of these actors, Downey Jr. and Kilmer, have shown brilliance..
Seriously, why isn't Val Kilmer in more movies lately?!
I believe he's following in Brando's footsteps by just taking time off from movies, he seems to be relaxing and gaining weight.
This is true.
john smiht He's even beginning to sound like him with that slight lisp.
David Gutermann he had throat cancer, maybe still has it not sure
He had throat cancer. He had it back in the 90s but he hid it from everyone. I think he has completely recovered from it because he’s returning for the Top Gun sequel next year.
1:26 I think this is where Val said that he threw up in his mouth when they started lmfao
Well, he finally got to play Mark Twain. Kudos D. Val
Two of the quickest minds in the business. Great stuff!
2000% chemistry
These two, of my opinion are"The"most talented actors of this generation.
One of the better unscripted segments I have seen.Just watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and found it very entertaining. Good stuff guy's thanx.
Batman vs Iron Man!
Two of the most talented artistically genuine actors in Hollywood today.
How this movie was underrated is beyond me you got 2 dam good actors great movie and funny
this is my favorite thing ever nothing else will ever be as great as this
brilliant film kiss kiss bang bang
Great movie to go back and watch again. And they are destined to work together again. Let's hope.
Two of the best actors ever created by Hollywood. Innately good and intellectually deep!
"I've not yet begun to defile myself ."
Only the right people know what I'm talking about.
They should have their own show.
I don’t know if a lot of people would get this, but Downey Jr dug at Kilmer around he midpoint when the “trying on turtlenecks” thing. It was a famous story during The Saint Kilmer was a nightmare to the costume designer, making her fabricate scores of different sweater turtlenecks over a period of weeks, like actually making them, and then in the end just choosing the off the rack one she offered in first place. Probably so much in the interview we don’t get, haha
I want to see another movie with the both of you playing quirky roles!
it's the jam!
This was fun, they really love eachother 👏👏👏
They both seem to have very Mercurial personalities. Val seems to take his time while he muses while RDJ is flighty and is like a butterfly that can only land for a second before taking off again. Val seems more at peace in this interview and RDJ seems slightly at odds with himself. I'm glad he discovered Kung Fu because he has seemed more at ease since. The Sherlock Holmes movies are perfection. Hoping for a third and fourth.
RDJ is the shit, but Val... this guy was Madmartigan, Bruce Wayne, John Holmes, Iceman, Jim Morrison, and fuckin Doc Holiday! Damn. And so many more. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a great movie and these 2 dudes are amazing in it.
kiss kiss bang bang is a great movie i watch it on Christmas holiday time
I'm impressed by Rob's tee shirt and how it matches those monitors!
Love you both, just like watching brother's messing with each other. you guys.....love it!
We have 2 billionaires tony stark & bruce wayne
this was GREAT
Love this interview❤️❤️
Just watched the Val documentary it was fantastic. It’s sad that we won’t get these two in a film together again but still fantastic we have Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Val Kilmer is one of my most favorite actor's just a little bit overlooked I find, my best friend told me he's a proper arse hole jerk to work with on set, I don't know about that really but then again not really all that bothered about his personality, man is a good actor and that's all that counts to me.
***** Ah like Christian Bale when he went berzerk at that lighting guy.
+J.R Brooks More like George Clooney on Three Kings (David O Russel I think?) - Stood up for someone at the bottom of the "food chain", more or less
I understand he was a terror when he was younger but he's changed since and apologized for his behaviour.
I love val kilmer acting no matter people said negative about him. Can not deny he is great actor
i can imagine he has mellowed as he has gotten older, but back in the day when he was A-list he was undoubtedly a grade-A douchebag. the method acting probably didn't help, it gave us some great performances but to people on set it would have been unbearable. that being said, he is also one of my favourite actors.
These guys are brilliant 👏
7:18 omg! These 2 together are just amazing
Lol probly my favorite unscripted
Now just add Johnny Depp to those two and you really got amazing group
these guys are so high lmao
I love everything about this omg
RDJ is one of the funniest people
Val Kilmer did play Mark Twain in 2014
Robert is brilliant; A bit pretentious yes, like most brilliant people, but still a very smart man.
limptastic genesis he's being that way because val is a dick
He's just having fun. People are far to sensitive these days.
I think that kiss messed them up. 😂😂
Batman and Ironman in the same room EPIC😍💖
Batman and Iron Man meet for the first time on the small screen
lmao these guys are hilarious
these 2 have great chmistry at least in interview that was great
Shalom. Good Afternoon! wow! I loved this movie with Robert Downey Jr FOREVER and Val Kilmer FOREVER! Hilarious comedy of two Hollywood hucksters getting into a lot of trouble. It's hard to watch this movie on my TV operator. I laughed from start to finish. Lol.
Interesting that Val mentions that he'd like to some day play Mark Twain, when I just viewed a Imgur gallery today of him going through the process of being made-up as a very realistic looking older Mark Twain. He's apparently starring, directing and producing a new Twain film.
oh my God, the Johnny comment - love you c:
Val Kilmer is to movies like butter is to popcorn.
This is my favourite one of all:)
Wasn't even casted to play tony stark yet, but was already starting to look like the character. This guy was born to play stark.
-casted- cast
I Love them both
I'm certain Robert still lives a little in Oliver Stone's Trippy Natural Born Universe!
Sharon Davies I'm certain Val still lives a little in Oliver Stone's trippy The Doors!
Eureka ! Now the voice and mannerism of b.d. wong's Hugo Strange on Gotham make sense !
Timmy the Magic Swan. Thank you, internet.
Lol they're so 90s and weird I love them. Make val the next avengers villain
Val IS actually playing Mark Twain now... awesome for him, he got his wish.
Omg I found my melting point... It's this particular video 🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:20 killed me lol
You guys talking about Val's next role as UFC fighter Chael Sonnen who's voice has a high comedic tone and his producers name is Joe Silva, probably his mum asking the questions from Oregon too, absolutely stunning.
if i ever wanna torture someone to near insanity listening to two gay opinionated douchebags i´l strap him into a chair with this interview on loop.
I love this, but are they on something or just tired? lol
Yay Robert Downey Jr.
at 10:42 you can tell robert is trying to hold down his puke lol
FUCK
,
I hope these two do AT LEAST one other movie together in the future
Both them guys can sing real good.
Val is awesome.
Glad he was able to play Mark Twain after all.
I would melt if Robert called ME "Hunny Bunny"!!!!!
The best one. The end.
Omg lmao! So hilarious! Love rdj so much
batman and iron man
Such a good movie.
