I loved the way Michael' says "You're welcome"s ( ಠ o ಠ ) , Ryan's "OH! Hi." ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ and the way Gavin just stand there awkwardly . To me that was hilarious.
Geoff excels at telling gripping stories that are completely meaningless. It's impressive how the man can say so much about so little and still make it interesting!
This is so pure. It really feels like one of the older minecrafts, helped in part due to Geoff's stories
mooseyluke It felt chill and relaxing. Like their other stuff when they are challenge heavy and competitive it was fun because they were devious but this is just chill and relaxing have fun, and talk.

Geoff's rambling yet intriguing story made it feel like one of the old lets builds.
Honestly, I was so engulfed with Geoff's story, that I totally stopped paying attention to the video. Haha

As a Mobile, Alabama resident who's been an AH fan for years and has seen Bob Grip at high school assemblies, this episode blew my mind
This was the last time the actual Achievement City was used in a Let's Play before the corruption.
(Excluding the return to Wipeout for the new hires which was an older save file)
So we never got to see what Jeremy’s lever did…
And this is why Geoff is important in these Let's Plays. The dude can make a story about nothing sound interesting, and then everybody else can play off of the story. Gavin is the only other person that has some of that skill, but Geoff is the best at it. So while the other guys can make decent Let's Plays in games that are action-packed, you really need Geoff around for the slower games like Minecraft.

I really love how genuinely happy Geoff was when he found out Bob Grip was still an anchor. Like, I think we can all relate to the irrational joy of realizing that a piece of your childhood, no matter how small, is still exactly the same as you remember it

The Bob Grip story is a more likely candidate.
The animator should have Bob Grip's head animated like South Park did with Saddam and Mel Gibson (aka his actual head with a cartoon body).

It's nice to see a return to format. I felt like MC was going to end soon since a lot of the LPs weren't too good. Either boring concept, or boring gameplay. I'd love to see another King or Find Geoff X

I thought that about the last one, but this one just disappointed me. I basically just left it on in the background like an off-topic podcast
I more so meant both of them since this one is just part 2, though part 1 was definitely the best.
It could have been so much better though. There's so much they had at their disposal. Hell, I was waiting so dearly for Gavin to detonate his way to victory or something.

I, for one, love Geoff's stories. That's the main reason I watch these let's plays, it's pretty much a podcast with some gameplay in the background.

So Ryan, his tower the only one with the tnt connected to the redstone at the start, resulting in the detonation and putting him at an immediate disadvantage for having less resource and tower, still won

Man, I'm really enjoying this, it's a cool map and idea. It's almost exactly like something my friends and I used to do, and it always just descended into chaos, which is why I have high hopes.

I don't know about that. They fallowed the rules to the best of their ability, they tried their hardest to make progress, and accomplished the goal within a fair amount of time.
I doubt Matt had high expectations from any of them.

Matt really let himself down. He built it for a certain way, but neglected giving them the guidelines and rules to execute the play style. Leaving it open was never going to work with 6 players!! X'D X'D
I hope if they ever do it again they set a 30min time to prepare their islands before they can leave them

Honestly, Geoff's stories are one of my favorite parts of the let's plays, just really interesting typically.

I'm starting to think that Geoff might be losing his Grip.
This is of the same quality as the Geoff's House Expansion Let's Plays.
The conversations and digressions make this whole video hysterical. ESPECIALLY BOB GRIPP.
That promo at the start was spot-on perfect. Love it!
Now when I watch this video in a year (and seriously, Achievement Highlands is freaking amazing, so I will be watching later), I don't get smacked in the face with an ad that is years out of date.

I had to rewatch finding the flag at least 6 times because of Geoff's story haha but it was worth it, Geoff stories are the best stories.

This let's play was fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed just sitting back and enjoying the content. That and Jack losing made me incredibly happy. One of the better Minecraft let's play's this year.
Dude I was just imagining Geoff's plane story so I completely missed the part where Ryan found Geoff's flag
I would love to just sit in a quiet bar with Geoff and just listen to him tell stories all night. I know most of the time they go fucking nowhere but there's something just really nice about hearing them.

I swear to god Geoff could tell a 3 hour story of what he did while stuck in morning traffic and I’d probably listen to the entire thing and somehow be entertained, he’s a really good storyteller.

I started watching this series at the beginning of this year. I've been neglecting it for whatever reason and I just wanna say awesome let's plays. It was worth watching episodes 1 through 261. it's good to be caught up now.
Perry Farrel story in a sentence: He was doing drugs in the bathroom and I thought he was crapping. The end.
Personally, Geoff's stories are some of his biggest contributions across the years I've been watching. I hope he continues to take time to do things outside the office so that he's this animated in the future.

Just when I was going to give up on Minecraft, it's better than ever out of nowhere.
In this episode, things falter without Matt. Competition intermittent with off-topic-like conversation. Geoff tells a nice story. Jeremy, Michael and Gavin go into sleepover mode and wear 0 armor and dragon heads and trash each others' towers, admitting defeat. Finally, Jack ponders whether or not he was cheating. Then the game happens for real at the very end. Quite an interesting and fun episode.
Heeyyyy, Michael's shout out to Woodbridge, VA! Cool, I live half an hour from there, never thought that place would come up in one of these videos. And on a positive note, have a great day to whoever reads this. You got this, whatever you need to do :)

Guys, the thing with the water is pretty simple... At a certain height you jump from you need to have a certain amount of blocks of water to land in. The towers are too high up for just a 1 block deep of water.

For me, the game was fun at first but things started breaking and new content was getting added and old things were not getting fixed and some new things would of been broken. That and the fact that really high end computers can't really even run the game at 50+ on the highest graphics when the game doesn't have that expensive looking graphics.
The setup reminds me of that old game "Netstorm" where everyone starts on islands and you build bridges to sacrifice the other team's lords.
