I had no idea of either of your ages, but now that I know Mr. Gary is 81, I feel even more privileged that I can watch him work. A life both in & of color, and ever the teacher... I live in VA, so I can’t just make a day trip to see you guys in person, but I watch with baited breath to learn all I can! I’m not able to afford ALL the cool stuff you guys offer in the way of brushes & paint, but it will be my honor & pleasure to actually try the paints out, and get an actual Jenkins brush or two... Just know that both of you (and your work) reach deep into the hearts of more people that I bet you know!!! I’d love to know more in depth about the paint pigment & viscosity you guys use... anyhow... thanks so much for the years of sharing... I took your class while you were in Ashland had a great time. You asked me to get certified wish I had been able to. You took the class to your home studio. I was able to see a large abstract piece you were working on with a fery in the center. Loved it

Not bragging at all, but so many people that I don’t know have told me that I am very talented. I have only learned from you and Bob Ross, then just a few other painters on U tube. I don’t consider my paintings “crappy” at all. But some peoples paintings are, I agree. Watching you consistently and love your method of teaching

Beautiful tutorials. I am watching from New Jersey. I am really challenged to paint roses. It is very difficult, but I will keep on trying. I love your tutorials and I am learning a lot from them. I am a retired teacher since 2011. Painting was always one of my favorite hobbies, but it wasn't until the past 5 years that I have been able to get into it. Now that we are going through this pandemic, painting is such a comfort and such an opportunity to use the extra time we have at home to truly dedicate myself to art. I get so immerse into it. I have spatial dyslexia. Drawing was always difficult for me until my college painting teacher realized I was drawing everything mirror imaged. He also had dyslexia and knew how to help me. I learned if I draw with my left hand it solves my problem. I ended up succeeding at getting a fine arts degree in 2d and 3D art. Thanks for sharing that you have dyslexia. Love your videos! The learning continues.

Wow, very very nice, its a painting i can look at and see something different in it every time. And yes, i am that kind of painter, have sanded off paintings over and over and over and ended up throwing the wooden item away and start all over. You are absolutely right, we have to be willing to scrap it if we aren't happy with it. The more we make mistakes the more we learn.
Answer; Personally, I love the live stream because you are natural and at the same time so informative. However, I could scream at you to put some deep rose showing out from the base of the bottom petals of the pink rose, the white, currently there, flattens it I feel. Hope you put some colour there before you finish. I love the freedom of how you dab on splotches of colour that morph into beautiful flowers and leaves. I am 80 yrs young and still trying to loosen up. I am in awe of your wonderful work. Merry Xmas from Queensland Australia. 2019.
