I was a child 8 years old...Mumbai was so different than...not many cars..BEST buses were plying on the road...very peaceful and fresh air and Breeze from the sea in the evening was really nostalgic...people were happy with limited things... No phones ..you can go to meet relatives without permission...simple life ...middle class life of Mumbai during that era....a nostalgic childhood

Those golden memories of my childhood....i am grateful to God for giving me the angel, whom I called Dida( my grandmother)....I am sure you are totally free from pain and smiling in God's lap.

Chandranathan, Do you know the Golden Age of Indian film songs (probably, of any Indian language)? It''s btwn. 1950-1980s.
If you are true music lover then you should fall in love with Music of that era. It touches your Soul and Heart like no other music can!
      It's sheer Musical Therapy!
Finally, we all will miss Lata didi a lot! She will be remembered for 100s of years to come. 1000s of female singers will , in future, be inspired by our dear Nightingale ! As they say, all good things come to an end.
