I saw this movie at Khayam theatre, Srinagar in 1976, where I was serving in BSF. Now I am 70 yrs old, still the song is my most favourite one. Salil Chaudhry and Lataji made it an evergreen song.
Salute to you sir for serving our country during the crucial time of India..❤...may be we can not feel the feelings that you are feeling after listening this song...we also miss the 90s time...
It's 70's not 90's
@@user-zz8iv2qe4u bro I am born in 90s...so I am missing my time bhai..😂
जय हिंद सर 🌹🌹
Memories that lingers and makes a deep impression on our minds.
I was a child 8 years old...Mumbai was so different than...not many cars..BEST buses were plying on the road...very peaceful and fresh air and Breeze from the sea in the evening was really nostalgic...people were happy with limited things... No phones ..you can go to meet relatives without permission...simple life ...middle class life of Mumbai during that era....a nostalgic childhood
बहुत सही बात कही
Truly amazing those days were.
I wish i bring back those days when we small Children's in Mumbai City and people were very lively. You could do anything that comes to your mind the possibilities were unlimited.
I totally agree. Many times I yearn to go back to those times... but I know that's not possible
Beautiful words

👌👌pure nostalgia!!
Common people could relate to these movies! These were our own stories told, so amazingly well, on screen, by the superb actors/directors/musicians!
How the heart aches to see the degradation of Bollywood now!😔
People have become aspirational now. Until liberalisation hero &/or heroine used to belong to middle class or lower middle class. Now that idea won't sell.
So true.... .!!
True

Bombay yad krke especially That era mujhe rona aa jata H. OMG those were the best days.
Bombay (Mumbai); meri jaan.70s era.....old villas and bungalows, clean footpaths, the bus stops with prominent movie ads, the milk booth, the BEST double Deckers, Fiat cabs, no autorikshaw, few cars on the road everything so lively ,.......I am lucky to have witnessed this all.
The local trains and the Arabian sea added glamour to the city .
Love Mumbai.
Absolutely Right…❤❤

Yesterday my maternal grandmother passed away.I am listening to this song on loop....the lyrics suddenly feels so relatable...... I never thought of my grandmother frequently, when she was alive....today she is gone..... leaving us shelterless, alone.....I am continuously remembering memories I spent with her .....just after she left...mere wo din Gaye kidhar !!! Those golden memories of my childhood....i am grateful to God for giving me the angel, whom I called Dida( my grandmother)....I am sure you are totally free from pain and smiling in God's lap.
RIP

Balance is the KEY!
I left my college a month ago. Someone performed this at the farewell ceremony. I can never listen to it without crying as it keeps on reminding me of my college memories. Growing up is so hard.
I left college 3 years ago, growing up indeed is hard but the fruit that is being independent is worth it.

I’m a new generation adult. Discovered this song about a week ago and had it on repeat . Got to hear the sad demise of The Nightingale of India . Rest in Glory. You will be remembered for generations to come .🙏🏻🥺
Composed by Great Salil Chowdhury
@@TheJoydish Salilda gave us so many nice and beautiful melodious songs. I always loved his songs.
Now the heroine Vidhya Sinha is not among us 😥

Amol Palekar changed the Bollywood typical lovestories, first time in bollywood movies they showed a middle-class man's lovestory 👏
RIP Vidya Singha ji 😔 & Today Lataji 😥 RIP end of an era....
Rightly said
Perfect bro
Rishikesh Mukherjee and basu chatterjee changed the scene
Above all Director Shri Basu Chatterjee...gem of a person, with wit and practical aspects put together his films conveyed a message.

This song does not requires any age
Sahi, iss tarah ki behtarin filmein unn dino ki Mumbai dikhati hein jab zindagi Kum bhagdaud waali thi.

@@ankursharma6150 simple. Lot more interaction with neighbors, friends and relatives. I felt we had more freedom to go out with friends and parents didn’t exert control like now. Schools and colleges were lot easier. Lot less pollution. Watching test matches at braborne stadium was a pride. I saw this romantic movie in my +2 age ...after this movie my heart flown in the sky dreaming Vidya Sinha as my girl ❤️ friend ..such a heart killing beauty she was.

I am 29 years old... Heard this song when i was 25... Still when i ride my bike while missing someone i sing this song ..even on stage during performance i sung this song ... This touched my heart ...so deeply...
Vidhya Sinhaji looked so beautiful in this movie. My fav movie. My love story started something like this and ended with divorce 😔. Lata Ji ne agar aise legendary songs nahi gae hote to hum jaise log kaha jaate.

Trisha Basu, I agree with you. This song goes back to the story of bonding between two persons. This bonding is sacred and we go to past time to recall our memories with our dear ones. When I listen this song I totally mesmerised.
Yesa movie Mera favorite hai
This is the kind of a song & picturization anybody can relate to... Because this is what our situations, circumstances & feelings look like in our day to day lives...
I love how old Bollywood was all about realistic stories & characters that looked like real people.
And the music sounds just like our emotions... So accurate 💘
Today bollywood miss this key point in a big deal
Salil chowdhury and Lata Mangeshkar - what a superb combination....what a beautiful song.

Though I'm not from 70s but I feel somewhere im connected to this era, probably this is because of great music and superb picturization. Feel so nostalgic
this is also my feeling 😊
Me too,idk why 70's attracts me like crazy. always desire to get a time machine and land in that era esp in Mumbai
What the flames consume are just the mortal remains.

Beautifully sung by Legend Great Lata Mangeshkar Ji.This song has picturized very beautifully the love-story, life and lifestyle of those days (seventies).
Very very sad that Zarina Wahab,Dipti Naval,Amol Palekar like Stars have remained underrated inspite of their unlimited talent.Runa ji should have been made sung by other popular Music Directors of our Film Industry. What a voice, what throwing of words, what an expression, what a rendition.... excellent excellent excellent ...

i dont know how will i be relatable but am a 1998 born .... a 25 year old whose peer group is always about series , parties , makeup but my soul is always craving for the old times (the time i was not even born) i just want to be there ... not just songs , everything from the kind of old houses ... old utensils , crockery , and specially the people.. maybe i was born in that era wanted to live it to fullest but could not. unfortunately i will never be able to experience that again .
Exactly what I was thinking you expressed here... Simple times purity in thought.. No show off
Songs like these tell you that ... Zindagi aur kuch nahi, teri meri kahani hai! Masterpiece!
