To be honest I would watch a Chris Harris only show. He's real, quirky, but down to earth, no pretension and honest. His style is very open and genuine and speaks without ego which is supremely rare in car show hosts anymore. It's not about him, it's about the car. Solid.

I’m a car guy and would watch, but the reason people tuned in to Top Gear was because of the comedy. There never has been enough gear/petrol heads to support a true car tv show.

I agree. A beautifully designed car. One of Ferrari's best in a while. Much much better to look at than the F8 Tributo which is quite fast but ugly i think.

Really? In my opinion it's ugly, couldn't hold a candle to a 288 GTO or even a 308 or 355. It's ugly man, who designed those lights? They look like they come off a Talbot.
I'll stick with the true classics, 250 GT0, 250 TR, 288 GTO, F40.......

This makes me realise how much I miss “Chris Harris on cars”. It was one of the most disappointing things to hear he was stopping the show to do Top Gear.

As a French, I simply love the way he talks about cars. This is so much "living" than in French and, you truly feel he loves what he's doing, you truly feel how passionate he is by cars and what it's making him feeling driving those superbs pieces of enginering. Just keep doing things this way, this is pure entertainment and pure enjoyment for those who can only dream of driving cars like those ones

You can actually SEE the forces, when the strings on his hoodie fly forward and float around under braking and turning. INCREDIBLE.
The add placement just after he turns off traction control is masterful.
Imagine Chris getting half a hour and Henry catchpole getting half hour...top gear would get 10 million viewers every Sunday.

I think this idea has definite possibilities... but what is the benefit of tying these two to a show that thought trying to water-proof a pickup truck and then racing it across the English Channel was a good idea?
In the last 20+/- years there have been maybe 4 or 5 especially good car reviewers total. Chris & Henry are right at the top of that list. If the interest and the sponsorship were there, that would be a show to measure all the others against. Present a show concentrating on provocative cars, no silly contests, classy production values with minimal background music. That might be something worth watching!

@@LeBozzx8 As a German who worked in a VAG company I Cann assure that we "Germans" dominate in the entrance luxury car segment. Cars like the Mercedes E Class, Audi A7 or Porsche Cayenne are by far the best in its class. Also if we talk about top notch Hatch Backs, nothing really comes close to the Audi A3, Mercedes A class or BMW 1 series..
However if we set the bar higher and talk about pure luxury or pure Supersport cars, we certainly are not the best anymore.
Brits beat us at luxury and Italians beat us in performance. A rolls royce will always be more luxurious than a S Class and a Ferrari will always be faster and more exciting than a BMW or Audi. Maybe Porsche comes close but don't forget that Porsche has become so mainstream that they produce small and cheap 4 cyl SUVs such as the Macan nowadays which is basically just an Audi Q3... Porsche definitely has lost its tradition and spirit the last couple of years.
My favorite is when Chris drove the p1 . I never saw a reviewer drive a car so mad as this man . Love to watch him go bonkers 👍

I agree. One of Ferrari's best designed cars ever. I really liked the 812 Superfast when it first came out but after looking at it a lot it has too many gashes and lines interrupting the clean flow of the car. The F12 is so clean and beautifully designed.
