I wrote this song because it’s hard to shake off the feeling that many people who wield real political, economic and military power in this world may not always have our best interests at heart, despite their claims to the contrary. All too often they pursue a self serving agenda which uses their position of power to spread false narratives in both conventional and digital media, to further their own ends at our expense, so we all have to drink from their Poison Chalice.
