Exactly! The complain wasn't anything other than some issues with electronics but majority of the complaints from us who want to buy FORD are the prices! They removed many parts and options from trim levels base, and STILL increased the MSRP. A 37 Raptor increased by $6,000. This is insane!!!
1. Make the tail lights to be impact resistant 2. Much more lighting options for the rear work area 3. Quiet down the transfer case when in 4 High 4. Make that gear shifter retract down quietly and smoothly with a quality feel 5. Make the doors comfortable to rest your elbow on a six hour drive 6. Allow the mirror and side lights to be used even if not in accessories on mode 7. Stop the radio from automatically coming on after pulling out of the driveway 8. Make sure there are no leaks - noisy air or water ingress 9. Make nothing sharp! Not the door edge plastics, not anything under the hood. 10. Make lights under the wheel wells for changing and checking the tires 11. Make sure the engine can last 300k miles and prove to the customers 12. Stop with coated hard plastics, especially on the steering wheel 13. Make a handle, a real handle, to yank open the tailgate when it’s all frozen over. 14. While you’re at it, Make grab handles in the Bronco better. …and this from a hard core Ford fan.
I own a 13 fx2 ecoboost and paid 50k for it and works just fine , I just bought a 95 f350 dually 7.5l v8 with 200k miles for 3grand and I am shocked to see how durable, reliable, well built, and solid these 90’s Trucks were, Iam loving my 95 dually 😎make American TRUCKS great again!!
During the last power outage here in Ypsilanti we used a F150 to power the Butman Ford dealership to keep things moving so yes its a proven power source !
I hear you but the 2.7L is an incredible motor! The reliability is the best of all the options and it’s also designed by the power stroke team, completely different then the other eco boost motors! My coworkers dad has 300k+ on his Gen1 2.7L
I have the 2.7 in my 2018 and it is a remarkable engine so far! I have about 100K on it so I’m happy to hear that some are getting 300K and still going! Mine is going to fall apart before I give these crooks another cent!
In 2013 I bought a new XLT 4x4 $28.000 extended cap, and felt good about the deal. How does anyone justify these prices, and how do these banks keep approving these loans for something that there is no way in hell worth it.
How does this new truck look crushed? Did they improve the thickness of the door skins? When I try to cave the doors in with the forks the aluminum tears. Also improve the B pillar connection to the roof. The B pillar seems to break away when the cab is crushed. Then the B pillar gets stuck between the lid and the back of the crusher thus causing the whole crushed cab to get jammed up against the bottom of the lid. I have to use the forks of the loader to get it down. I wish engineers would improve ways to crush these vehicles better so that we crusher guys and be more productive.

Purchased a 2021 Ford F 150 Lariat because of all the hype. was the worst decision I ever made. From a dozen recalls to Ford not supplying parts to fix the problems. For the past year I have had to listen to annoying warnings for antilock braking malfunction, advance trac warnings and not always able to change drive modes. Now I'm stuck with 60k plus invested in a vehicle I cant get rid of with open recalls. Way to go Ford.
No dual exhaust on the Platinum 702 High package which is the new Dark Appearance package. Come on Ford what a dick move, I just ordered this truck for $110,000.00 Canadian and the dealer said it has a "dark chrome" side tip..... They suggested I order a lesser trim to get the dual exhaust.
Ford might need to bring back some engineers who can help them simplify the truck and make them more reliable and easy to work on. These new trucks are way too complicated for a lot of people to work on and maintain.
I dont want all that crap I cant figure out and probably never use! I like knobs, buttons and switches that you know by feel exactly what they do not so with a touch screen that requires your full visual attention, how safe is that?

Beautiful truck. Does anyone know, when he says all 2024 F150's across the board will have 5G connectivity, does that also mean it can be a 5G hotspot? That plus the optional fold out flat work surface in the front center console are a big part of why I am only considering Ford brand trucks. With my cell phone and laptop, that flat work surface to put the laptop on, and such a 5G hotspot, I could take my home office mobile anytime and most anywhere I want and not miss a beat. Love it. LOVE IT. (Now if they'd just add a quality Night Vision capability, like in the Escalade or Audi SQ8, an option anyway, not just to see Bigfoot better, but to cut thru serious fog and snowstorms to see the exhaust heat of vehicles in front of you, better than even fog lights in those circumstances)
Biggest redesign for any trucks was the Tacoma,,and after Dodge being the first to change the tailgate game, obviously everyone or most follows changing their tailgates

Eco boost is amazing, I have a 2012 with over 200k and a 2018 with 120. Not one single problem.
Now they call naturally aspirate fuel injected! Used to be naturally aspirated was just a carburetor?

My 2018 F150 paint is peeling off and they call it "wear and tear". The dashboard has melted. I'm trading it in for a Dodge.
