Thanks for the inspiring words! It means a lot!
Bruh this could literally be chatGPT. I'm not convinced it's not
You missed the mistakes?
The Mali empire was first founded by Sumahoro Kante, also known as the Blacksmith King. It is precisely because he was a blacksmith that the Manding would not recognize Sumahoro Kante's authority, and asked for Sunjata Keita to take over, and consolidate what Sumahoro Kante started.
Great content we need more on Mali
Thank you so much! I will be sure to post more on Mali! Please stay tuned.

Nice video mate

Long love the Lion of Mali and his heirs
Nice
Thank you!
The AI art really adds some quality to this video. But lol I can't unsee the 6-legged Donkey faced Camel and the Camel with a Trunk!!
Are the arial shots that look like they are filmed 3d miniature models also AI or your doing? Because if they are hand made then they are excellent!!
GREED is the downfall of ALL Empires
nice video but a correction needs to be made. the kings of mali were not considered divine. mali was an islamic empire and that would be considered a major sin to believe such. even sufi muslims would never dare to take on such a belief. Fun fact. im an african american who has 17% dna from mali. fun fact 2. as someone that has lived in egypt for 10 years, i have met a lot of people from mali that are students at al azhar university. they are nice people are generally know their history. fun fact 3. the movie the lion king is based on the first emperor of mali
Thank you for the feedback and the fun facts! I should have made it more clear, by "divine" I didn't mean to give the impression that the kings were "God like". I can definitely see now that that was a mistake. I plan to do more on Mali in the future so please stay tuned. I appreciate your support!
Mali was animist
@@AfricanMaverick you are misinformed. Mali was a muslim land. they followed the maliki school in islamic law.
@@BilalMarcus False. Muslims are attempting to spread the myth that Islam made the Mali Empire great. What nonsense.
Animists founded all of Africa's greatest empires.
In fact, Mali existed prior to Mansa Musa's accession to the throne, and the leaders who preceded Musa were all animists. Berbers and other Muslims began pouring into West Africa like rats after Musa converted to Islam, exploiting the region.
@@AfricanMaverick You are very uneducated. the dynasty was a muslim dynasty. the people were muslims. they built they first library in west africa which was a muslim library. they built three islamic universities. and all before mansa musa. you really need to get beyond your anti islam bias and see history from a neutral position.
Where can I find some of those images?
I can leave a link for you once I post them online.
God work
Thank you very much!
Where do you find this graphics 😍
Glad you liked it! Most of the images for this video were created using midjourney AI and some stock Photo/videos as well. I'm also plan to make them available in links in the near future.

I’m a Jamaican trying to trace back my history and it looks like my ancestry has connections to Songhai, Mali, Ghana, Nubia, Kush and Egypt along with Taino from the native jamaican’s
I clicked on this with extraterrestrial connection in mind. 😅
Great video nonetheless.

Do we know from where the majority of slaves in the Malian Empire came from? To what extent were they trading slaves with the Arabs?
From raids on neighboring communities and some through trade but This was a different kind of slavery than that of the trans Atlantic slave trade though which I will have a video on soon. The slaves in this time could sometimes achieve social mobility if they were skilled or loyal and their children would be born free.
Most part of the Empire had a plain geography
'followers of Wester African indigenous religions' is incorrect; they were rather traditions and customs, not unlike 'animists'
Lazy ai docs. A lot of this info is wrong.
Were there mali Israelites? Or were there just Israelites who mingled with the mali people?
Good question. The historical records of those times are incomplete and even quite biased. It is possible that they could have existed there in this time period but not confirmed to my knowledge.
@@conceptualearning I loved how you responded to that and thank you
Thanks King Miike. I appreciate the comments and your support on this channel!
@@conceptualearning I'll be sure to watch the full video n whatever new u got.
