Carbon Based Lifeforms (CBL) are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid , both born in 1976 and based in Göteborg, south¬west Sweden. They met when both 15 and are still, amazingly, working happily together, over 25 years later. CBL itself was formed in 1996, as an offshoot from other projects, but it soon became their focal point, culminating in their first release on ‘mp3.com’ in 1998. The duo signed with the celebrated Lyon¬ based ‘Ultimae’ label in 2002 and went independent in 2014 To date they have released six official, full length albums and is one of the biggest names in their genre.
CBL aim to combine earth and space in their music. Using the combination of nature and technology as the main inspiration for their work, they like to represent both the positive and negative effects that this collaboration can lead to.
CBL are frequently present among the headliners of the biggest Psytrance festivals across Europe and have done many shows in Russia and even USA and Australia. - Hudba

some very interesting mixing there.
Those vocals sound great on headphones but over my speakers true stereo image there's so much more happening with the spacial placement or movement.
the best example I have heard yet to demonstrate that headphones are not true stereo

I agree with the first part, we are dead, lights out. But the second part I don't think is we are dead. if you listen to 6:57 you can hear it the clearest, I can hear her singing bright.
I also think they say soon we will start breathing. Not stop breathing.
I think the latter part may be ≈ We born bright, soon we will start breathing.
I think brightness and starting to breathe are thematically in line with the title of the song. Euphotic means the layer of water into which light penetrates well enough to make photosynthesis possible. Light is bright. Photosynthesis makes breathing possible.
