Carbon Based Lifeforms (CBL) are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid , both born in 1976 and based in Göteborg, south¬west Sweden. They met when both 15 and are still, amazingly, working happily together, over 25 years later. CBL itself was formed in 1996, as an offshoot from other projects, but it soon became their focal point, culminating in their first release on ‘mp3.com’ in 1998. The duo signed with the celebrated Lyon¬ based ‘Ultimae’ label in 2002 and went independent in 2014 To date they have released six official, full length albums and is one of the biggest names in their genre.
CBL aim to combine earth and space in their music. Using the combination of nature and technology as the main inspiration for their work, they like to represent both the positive and negative effects that this collaboration can lead to.
CBL are frequently present among the headliners of the biggest Psytrance festivals across Europe and have done many shows in Russia and even USA and Australia. - Hudba

guys if possible, please, please, PLEASE release this vocal version of 20 minutes at 6:25... this is pure magic...it cant be this piece of art is not out :/ i know you were probably just experimenting, but if its saved and somewhere finished, please share it somehow :) this is one of the most heartbreaking pieces of music ever.

This album is pure magic, the tracks are so characteristic that they don´t seem constructed at all, but rather carefully dug out from another dimension.
The last track on world of sleepers is truly divine. Absolute heaven and silence turned into music
"Interloper" is one of my favourite albums of all times, and "Supersede" is actually my favorite track from that album. It's great to see part of the production process, loved the behind the scenes footage!

Hello Carbon Based Lifeforms. I would like to thank you for the unspeakably beautiful soundscapes and melodies that whisk me away and relax me at the touch of a button. I have the feeling to sink slowly on the floor in a big warm pool and enjoy a breath of eternity.
I'm especially thankful for "Frog," "Somewhere in Russia," and "Cube." These are very special soundscapes for me that literally soften me up and make me one with the universe - a kind of acoustic drug that doesn't wear off....
I usually don't like to look at the artists behind the music, because sometimes you get disappointed by the imagination when it meets the reality. I have now stumbled on CZcams by chance about you and am glad that such sympathetic people hide behind these sounds. Please continue, you have created something wonderful.
Thanks for the inspiring, relaxing and dreamy sounds. My favorite thing is just to lie in the dark with headphones after work and let myself relax.
WHAT?! Interloper is seriously one of the best albums of all time. The only album in fact that I can listen to the whole way through. No other album that I have listened to I can do that to, even if I love the album, there's always at least 1 song that I can't listen to.
Try then Stara Rzeka "Cień chmury nad ukrytym polem" album.
