    So I'm guessing no air con in these things?

      AdamAus85 I would think it does have ac/heat. Maybe GoProRuss knows more than I do. I've never been in the boat or even seen it in person.

      Most of the time there's the option to add AC but it isn't taken on piston motor closed canopy boats. Not sure how it would be done on a boat with turbines, but I'm sure it's a ridiculous setup.
      On 80F-90F days my friends 388 Skater gets hoooooot when sitting still with the hatch open. Once you start moving around 5mph it cools down enough to make the pool of sweat you're sitting in feel nice. With the hatch closed, there's a few vents that let enough air in to keep you from passing out from heat exhaustion.
      If you're interested their boat is HP Mafia #69, they compete in the Superboat-class.

    Pretty sad to see the lack of respect for this kind of boats showboating around without their harnesses on doing well over 100...Must be kids

    • @GoProRuss
      @GoProRuss  Před 9 lety +3

      If the driver is sitting on his lap belt I'm pretty sure they are not.. Maybe next time you can make better decisions

      its a shoulder harness and it is clearly on. i was there and the first thing we did was put harnesses on.

      +TheCrush25c Yep you are right i looked at the video again. I damn sure dont see the 2 up front with their shoulder harness on or anything. Ray Charles could see that and hes dead and blind. Maybe later on they decided to strap in but still one small mistake and out the boat they would of went especially doing 150 mph.

    How much would one of these bastards set you back? it has to be over a mil at least right. not including fuel and maintenance.

    • @dieseldog00
      @dieseldog00 Před 7 lety

      Yes easily over 1mil.

      Yeah you go tell him you'll give him $550k. He'll laugh in your face then walk away.

    • @dieseldog00
      @dieseldog00 Před 7 lety

      $585k well I'm totally shocked, especially with the 1850hp 703s. That boat had to have cost well over $1.5m at the signing. The guy must really want to sell it, plus he has the money to take that kind of hit and not care...

      I don't think it really matters what they do for a living. They do what they love and are dedicated to keep doing it. Thats what really matters.

    • @richr909
      @richr909 Před 8 lety +2

      It totally matters what they do for a living. Without making tons of money you can't afford a boat like that. I want a boat like that too but you have to figure out first how to pay for it

    • @nateschroeder8324
      @nateschroeder8324 Před 8 lety

      Ok, what is something that you hated the most in high school subject wise. What if I told you they have a Doctorate in that field. Meanwhile if you would try to do that same thing you would fail because, 1 you are not interested in the subject, and 2, you are just in it for the money. You can not apply there life to your own because it is impossible for them to match up. If it was that easy everyone would be going into corrosion and petroleum engineering. So no it does not matter what they do for a living.

      +Nate Schroeder. Nate yes it does cause I'm a beast and I could go do anything that they do. Especially if it's just for the money. I win
