One of the only paints they still make that’s still any good. Overpriced when there’s many more out there.

In Canada we have an attachment handle you can buy for your tray so you don't have to bend down to move the tray. You can also rest your stick on it.

I'm about to paint some kitchen cupboards.
They are covered with a fake wood finishes like a veneer which is painted. Probably MDF underneath that.
I've sanded the veneer slightly to give it a rough texture.
It's the finishing coat will be a Dulux trade diamond satinwood. We don't want the previous color to come through so, would you suggest this as a primer?

Johnstone AQUA undercoat top dries quick, sticks well and covers great plus appearance of an oil based undercoat any further top coats just slides on. It
be £20 odd a 5l tin cheaper than Dulux

Honestly does anyone know what’s going on if there’s a shortage of wood primer cos it’s all primer undercoat 2in 1 personally I’m set against mixing 2 vastly different paints that do vastly different tasks in same can
Your supposed to apply primer coats and undercoats separately they serve different purposes
It looks online that’s all there is mostly 2in1 type primer undercoat it’s looking like a massive shortage of just wood primer but with zero news online to explain why a lack of wood primer

Why do you mask? Should only mask doors if you're spraying.

  • @ProfessionalPainterDecorator

Isn't it that Dulux Acrylic is 100% acrylic, where as cheaper brand alternatives have less and pack it out with other stuff.. hence they don't cover and perform as well.
