When she was about to turn 5 a couple of months ago, my niece really really wanted a flower for her bedroom. My sister, knowing about my succulent collection, told me this and I immediately thought of THIS little beauty! I searched all over for a perfect example of a E.PVN and that's what she got for her 5th bday! She was so excited! She was all "YOU GOT ME A FLOWER!!"

I live in Albuquerque and this plant does tolerate heat. It seems to do best when it is not in full sun but rather can enjoy a couple hours of shade especially during the hottest months of July and August.

Hi I am new to succulents. Started really becoming interested in succulents a year ago. I had quite a sekection of aloe vera and echeveria (known by us as the dessert rose). Because of a severe drougth in our area in South Africa most of the plants that needed more water regularly was busy dying. I notice one day in my garden that the aloe vera, dessert rose and some campfire plants wasmgrowing despite the lack of water. I then started googling about these plants because they where the onky ones that was able to griw jn the garden. Thank you fir your very informative videos it help me alot growing my succulents. Keep up the good work.

I have a baby Perle Von Nurnberg that I found at one of our local nurseries. It was perfectly colored and its leaves were symmetrical. I kept it in light shade for a few days then gave it an hour of full sun. It was fine until I forgot one day and it got an extra 45 minutes of full sun. Poor thing is a bit bleached but it's still alive. I apologized profusely and now set an alarm for myself when I have plants enjoying full sun.
