First time moving BIG LOGS with a tractor and forwarding trailer

- Have to move lots of big poplar logs, so I'm learning to drive the KUBOTA L5450 tractor and operate a 12' SYLMAR forwarding trailer. These machines are scary powerful, so as always I'm going super slowly as I feel them out and learn their limits.

Love your videos and the diversity of them, just been curious why the variety? Nothing negative as it's a breath of fresh air and interesting to watch.
Thank you! It's just kind of the whole process I guess. I learned to use and maintain my small chainsaw, then got curious about bigger more powerful ones and had the opportunity to try them as well. Then once the trees are cut, there's a whole lot more work to be done, bucking, limbing, winching and hauling, plus I like to enjoy the woods as well. Just want to share the whole journey 🙂

Thank you! We really got slammed with snow and deep cold this winter so I've been hibernating 😉 I'm really looking forward to getting back out to the woods and making new videos though. Soon I hope! Spring is bound to get here eventually.

Thank you! Yep, it's poplar. When we have a full trucks worth, it'll be sent to the sawmill.

Thanks! Yes, I'm alive 😅 just hibernating! Winter has been super long, cold and sooooo much snow. Really looking forward to getting back out to the woods and making new videos. Hopefully spring will get here soon 🤞
