- Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, celebrates her 16th birthday with her dad, Larry Birkhead, who's sharing all the details of her special day with ET. The teen looks completely grown up, as she poses for some snaps for the milestone celebration. Larry even pulls off an epic birthday surprise by gifting Dannielynn a puppy! It’s been a year of celebration for Dannielynn, who previously visited Universal Studios, attended the Kentucky Derby and even met one of her favorite artists, Janet Jackson!

Larry really took on his responsibility as a dad with such care and love. He sets the bar high as it should be. Little girls are precious and their relationship with their father can affect them for the rest of their lives. What a model effect Larry has had.

Never with any other family members or friends. On her 16th b-day she hung out with just dad. I can't put my finger on it, it just seems strange. I hope she has a life outside of her dad. I'm not knocking the father & daughter relationship, that's wonderful.

Right from birth. I remember how hard he had to fight to get his own daughter. He stood up to the plate from the get go. Crazy to think there are so many fathers out there who are the opposite!!
@@bocawilliams9200 They aren’t that rich. Anna never won any money of J Howard Marshall’s estate. It settled in 2019. I’m sure they’re well off, but I don’t think they’re as rich as people would think.

Here father has done a great job as a single father. It’s not easy.
It didn't seem that hard for Larry. It's easy to do what's right. It is only when parents put their selfish interests above their children's needs that things become difficult. Once you have children, you must accept that your life is not your own. Your priority must be your kids. Until they are grown, dating and all that nonsense is selfish. Don't do it.

Larry seems like an old fashioned, Conservative Dad. He obviously raised DL with rules and discipline. That's why she is so sweet and polite in her Interview. She is beautiful just like her Mom.

Well her parents look alike really . So it’s hard to tell if she looks like Anna or her Dad. She seems shy and that is endearing to me. Sweet young lady . Great Dad. Anna Nicole was used and she really was a great lady . Hooked on drugs . Prescription or not , someone was pulling the strings in Anna. She really went through hell . She lost her Son and she had just given birth . I was so sad Anna passed .

Passed away he brought his daughter up as a single father, and As talked to her about her mother, and as kept all her mothers things in a garage and as shown them to her, he sooo sweet and just simply dotes on his beautiful daughter and as always put her first , you can see how his face lights up everything he talks about her, that he loves her so very much.
