Derek,
Thanks for the great video! It brings back memories. Although I live in Australia (I am a senior tour guide at Jenolan Caves in NSW), I have volunteered at Mammoth Cave with the rangers and have also participated in three of Western Kentucky University's summer field studies courses. I was privileged to have been caving with Roger Brucker, Dr Stan Sides and Dr Art Palmer including one memorable trip to Floyd's Lost Passage in Crystal Cave with Stan. I still try and keep up to date with everything that is happening at Mammoth Cave and certainly hope to get back there when world circumstances permit. Thanks again for the great video!
I became inordinately excited when the cat appeared! Such a pretty kitty!
Yes, I got photo bombed.
Thanks for putting good music in the video.
Wow! The accommodations have come a long way since the 80's!
Yes they have. I started in 1992 when CRF was using the Willow Springs site. The newer Hamilton Valley location is fully owned and operated by CRF and is an amazing facility. You should visit.
I subbed cuz ky my Homeland and mammoth cave was one of my greatest child hood adventures also I love how calm your voice is 😁😍
I subscribed - so I expect to see awesome cave trips every week!
Great work Derek! Well done!!
Based on this pilot, I'm forever "Fred" the diver, :)
Great start I hope you keep at it!!!
