She is one of a kind, probably the only one, who deals with these crazy complex rhythms with such an ease. It's like she's got several Swiss clocks in her head, each one running precisely but still following its own pace, but somehow when combined all together they weave such intricate unconventional patterns, that continue magically and unpredictably interact with each other, creating all those masterpieces.
There are many wonderful drummers, but Anika's truly unique creative style is instantly recognizable and makes her incomparable.

Never seen anybody Play the Drums like this gal. Amazing to watch, shes so versatile and quick and Smoothie. Use every piece of her drumkit in ways you wouldnt Think of. Innovative to say the least. Wow!

I love literally everything about this video, Anika is by far and away one of the best drummers out there. Everything in this video is perfect, except the raiders hat.
I used to play drums but it's been over 30 years since I last used my drum sticks. Sometimes I think of going back and start playing again but, just then, I watch a new video of Anika and think I should definitively pick up my drum sticks and burn them.
I truly realize I have no buisness behind a drum kit any more but I live my dreams through yuor magic and your art......Danke Anika.
Wow, this track luckily came up as a recommended on Spotify! I admire Dave Weckl, Simon Phillips, Gavin Harrison and Marco Minneman a lot, and I instantly loved your energy and style too! But the most important thing is how everything comes perfectly together, great composition/melody, great band, great flow, beutifully delivered!
