maybe they can't do what she can do or has done....they know best in their hearts. This is a Masterpiece.
Anikas playing is a combination of playing drums and solving a horrible math problem. It's so complex, that even though I've been playing music for 20 years, I still just give up trying to figure out what she's doing after the first 30 seconds :P
Incredible talent.
And how refreshing it is for us players to simply enjoy the moment instead of trying to dissect it. With such complex unfollowableness, we are gifted the opportunity to zoom out and away from our compulsion to analyze and simply luxuriate inside its intended experience.
Like I was trying to figure out what count she was doing, but I got lost fast.

Anika is already a drumming legend. Not only can she play mind boggling rhythms fluently through a dizzying arrangement of time signatures, but she does so with amazing feel.
I’d be willing to argue that when it comes to groove, finesse, and technical skill, you rank among the best in the world. Hot damn that was crispy!

It always amazes me how her videos seems to be done on one complete take. No false playback performing... It's surreal to accomplish this in a song with such complex parts!!
@@DahlgaardStudios I agree with you. Yeah, it has lots of clips, but it is so great edited that it gave me that impression when I fist saw it. Usually we can see that something was clearly glued together when we see drummers changing posture (or shaking head differently) between clips... Anyways, after rewatching I can see lots of moments where they could have done that (the dynamic shots, the bass drum angle, the soundguy shot), haha. Thks for the reply!
