Nice work..Really narrated the soul of Tamil Nadu and Kerala...Getting nostalgic after watching your uploads...
Nice to watch, thanks for uploading ... it is really a pleasant excursion.
I am amazed that folks like India very much ... I spent my Sunday watching your entire South India trip videos. gosh I really feel I am missing the countryside ... lost touch with my South Indian roots.. thanks for this video ... :)
Wow... All in one day!!! Even I couldn't do that :) but really, I'm very glad you enjoyed the videos. Sometimes it helps to see something familiar thru another's viewpoint. We all loved both the country and the people.
You seem to be a lovely person, friendly and open minded. Love your videos.
Relaxingtime4me Thank you very much! Very sweet of you. Glad you enjoyed the videos:)
People in India are mostly honest, gentle and respectful, even to foreigners.
I have watched until this part starting from chennai continuously.Your cinematography and editing is cool and the way you see things positively for a different culture is great.except for the guide who spoke only about caste and untouchables I liked the whole part. Those caste system got out of country long back. And in two years after your visit these two states have changed completely in terms of cleanliness and infrastructure..Is developing further at a much rapid pace.Thank you!!
Well shot video recording the every moment of your tour. I appreciate your interest and love on nature and animals. Even for us, South Indian, it is educative and enjoyable.Elephant can understand human language is amazing. You are most welcome again to India. One can't able to see even 5% of it's diversities of cultures, people, traditions, monuments, geographical differences etc. even roaming all of the life time.
RAHMATHULLAH RAHMATHULLAH thank you very much! I agree about the vast wealth of potential experiences in India. I'm really grateful for what I have seen so far, and hope to see more in the future. The north will be next for me.
As an American-Malayali, it's nice seeing parts of Kerala that I have never explored due to growing up in the U.S. Thank you for everything I missed out on, can't wait to explore these new places on my upcoming trip ❤️

I would like to inform you . Alexander the great came to india and was wounded so badly returned to his kingdom and he was shocked by seeing 100 s of elephants that took place in the war.
🙏
Iam from kerala.
You have captured the moments beautifully. Very inspiring. Happy to see that you are appreciative of the every reality that you see in your travel. That's what the spirit of a traveler is to be. I hail from Tamilnadu and have been working in the middle east for about 13 years. Felt very nostalgic after seeing your videos of my state. Thank you very much. I consider to travel with my family in the same route as you've traveled later in this year. Which time of the year did you undertake this travel in Tamilnadu and Kerala?
Thank you very much for your kind words. We visited South India end of October-beginning of November 2014. I hope you do get a chance to visit your homeland with your family - it's a really beautiful and interesting part of the world.
ur awesome mam !!!!...nd nice video too ...thank u fr visit our god own country
anchal riyas Thank you very much! Visiting South India was truly my pleasure! I'm looking forward to visiting the North some time in the future.
+Nancy Ioannidis Thanx maam, nice video...Iam from Kerala, India....do visit the Taj, Delhi, the Islands, north, north East, the sand and salt deserts of north West, palaces and forts of Rajasthan etc. ......in your next trip (s)....
Jar-Jar Binks Iam from Kerala but I will say that even the Northern part of India is very beautiful for sight seeing......gorgeous Himalayas, beautiful hill stations like Shimla and Nainital, desert on the North-West, and beautiful places like Darjeeling in the North-East, beautiful Delhi and Rajasthan, and many many historical monuments like the Taj Mahal. However, yes North and NorthWest is culturally different from the South, and also North East India is very different culturally.
+Jar-Jar Binks Grow up kid
Jar-Jar Binks So, is 'imbecile' the new word you learnt today at school, kid? Or are you really an ignorant dimwit?
Those trees dont grow there.. they got submerged when the dam was built. lol. enjoyed the vid btw.
Ohhhh that explains it :) I didn't even think of the dam. Those trees are tough survivors though!
Dear Nancy Ioannidis - Great video and editing. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Can you please tell me the name of the tour company? Also what is the brand and model of your video camera and the editing software please. Regards.
+cyrussnyc Glad you liked the video Cyrussnyc. The tour company I use is Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT). I love that they use local guides, which is very important to me. If you mention my name we will both get a discount :) The camera is Canon Vixia and the software Corel VideoPro, which is good and not pricey. Editing is very time consuming, but I enjoy it. I hope you like it too, if you give it try. I'm sorry I took so long to respond - my internet checking habits are very sporadic.
very nice dear
lal joy Thank you 😊
you are welcome dear Nancy
👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Thank you 😊
Now Kerala is totally changed
how so??
Great Work! Great Journey! May I ask how much you paid to the tour organizers?
I'm sure it was quite a bit more than I could find from local operators or if I had done the trip on my own, but for me it was more than worth it to see this beautiful country with a local guide and in a way that went beyond the standard destinations. We visited with local people and felt closer to real life than what most tourists are usually exposed to. For example, I loved that we rode in the back of a local furniture delivery truck looking for a toilet and that we used the rickshaws used by locals for our ride instead of the fancy ones :) You can check the current price of the trip on the company's webpage (OATtravel.com).
You are doing a very good job of advertising OAT. I hope you get a discount for your next travel.. :)
It would be great to get discounts for doing videos, but no such luck :) they have other discounts though, like for referring new people and for being a frequent traveler.
Nancy what an epic video journey. i have been watching your south India trip all day :) so touched you and your group were embracing Indian culture. i did the north last year, i want to so a south india trip so badly! :) what tour operator did you use?
Glad you liked the videos Andy. I'm taking the watching all day part as a big compliment :) I used Overseas Adventure Travel (oattravel.com). If you decide to use them tell them to give you the referral discount :) I still have not been to the north and I want to do that trip very badly! :)
Awesome, you and your group seemed to have so much fun. You truly embraced the whole culture and the different people. Watching your videos today has been a great pleasure. Where in the US you and your group from?
I live in New York. People in the group were from many different states.
reading ur comments makes me a lot proud, thank u guys....
Your videos on touring India are one of the best i have seen. They are very informative and can teach about particular subjects like Bharatnatyam, spice garden in kerala etc.You are the perfect ambassador for Indian tourism.
Very well made...Ive worked there as a part of a resort for 2 years..The Indian tourists are so noisy and feed wild animals which is a strict no no .Those are only tree stumps in the middle of the lake, not living trees... the landmass was taken over by water when the mullaperiyar dam was built
Thank you Ajay. They must have been two very interesting years. If I ever make it back to the area I would love to stay at the hotel inside the preserve!
I understand what foreigners want to know in India. It is usual to us but not to you.
sister went periyar not on raft they went in a boat
Why didn't they allow you to cross the river ??
+PerfectDark I'm very overweight :) Sadly, I have allowed chocolate to rob me of some amazing experiences... It's an ongoing war for me, but I haven't given up yet :)
Why don't you try some Ayurveda Treatment and Yoga for weight loss . There are some good treatment centres in Kerala . Anyway I am from Kerala . And I am still watching your videos , its the 10th chapter now .... Thank you for visiting Kerala , Hope you had a nice stay . Come and visit us again ....
+PerfectDark I have thought about coming to India for an extended period of time as an investment in my health. I felt so much better when I was there. Unfortunately, I can not get that much time off from work. I will definitely come back and visit though.
Nancy Ioannidis Awesome ... Hopefully you'll be able to come soon .... I think you have visited only the southern part of Kerala . There are some cool places in northern Kerala too ... Greetings from Kerala
+Nancy Ioannidis Why not you crossed river on the raft alone? I am sure you can't weigh more than 3 persons combined.
