- Exclusive interview with the recently crowned Miss Universe Philippines and pioneering member of Models of lloilo, Rabiya Mateo.
In her first time coming back to her home town after winning the title of MUP, Rabiya celebrated her 24th birthday during her stay. The interview took place during her birthday celebration with her family members in a private set-up.
In the interview, Rabiya recalls her journey towards the title, from walking freely in public to now being swarmed by loving fans. Being interviewed in Iloilo made it easy for her to recall her humble beginnings. She also tells us about her future plans in preparation for the bigger stage of Miss Universe.
We would like to thank her mother, Christine Mateo for facilitating this exclusive birthday interview to happen.

I remember, a day after watching her prelim interview, I really hoped and prayed that, "God, even if i am no longer to be successful or let's say jobless as of the moment .. just let her win." (I dont know if its just me,) And watching her whole interviews and knowing her stories since she won MUP, honestly I never regretted what im asking coz its just only myself vs. the lives of many wherein rabiya could make them inspires alot.
