My Filipino friend was so hyped up about the Miss Universe Pageant and I can see a very good reason why. Rabiya Mateo represented The Philippines very well and I’m sure she won a lot of hearts all over the world. I’m not fluent in the Philippines language but what I understood she is looking for her Dad. I have a neighbor in Glencoe, Dr. Syed Hashmi who has a practice in Chicago but he is from Pakistan not India.
OMG, please contact Rabiya. Maybe her dad just stayed in Pakistan but originally her dad is from India.
Contact her, maybe you can help her look for her dad. Rabiya is in L.A. right now and she is staying there for more than a week.

But only she knows why he left and the mother as well. But in my opinion, he has had all the chances to remain connected, and even up to her crowning, it would be hard to accept he did not reach out as a proud father....If she freely wants to pursue him, i would support her.
