    Great video. You're dead right - it's a left hand motion. I keep thinking I spend too much of my practice time on vibrato. I also imagine the other chops I could've been developing instead of spending all that time on vibrato. But vibrato is so important. What was that saying about making your instrument sound like a vocalist - and being able to make it cry...

    One question: using 1,2,3 is fairly easy but the thumb itself not so obvious; is using it is generaly avoided?

      Thanks, Bernard! Yeah, I generally avoid vibrating on thumb. I’ll sometimes move my first finger near it and have it help the thumb with the vibrato, but I’ll generally just pick another finger instead of thumb.
