    This is a great compare and exactly what I was wanting to see. I picked B because it looked like a 90D picture. I guess I know my camera. I’m blown away at the ISO level on the Cardinal picture. I could never do that with my 90D and use the picture. Thanks for the comparison video. Very good stuff.

    I think 90D is a better option to buy right now if u want performance/price. Love this review!

    All well and good but the R6 is newer and twice the price of a 90D. I purchased a new 90D from Amazon Canada for $1414.00 CAD. It is unavailable in stores. An R6 retails here in Toronto for $3099.99 CAD. I’ll live with the 90D and it’s “shortcomings”. Oh BTW the 90D has a very useful and detailed top of body LCD display with all my basic camera settings. I use it on every shoot. The R6 does not.

      I like them both; each has its strengths and you can't go wrong with a 90D IMO. Thanks for the comment :)

    brilliant i love my 90d but wish i could afford another camera ie the r series but cant due the cost of living here in uk

      I like my 90D a lot too. A lot of times when I go out, I can't decide which of these cameras to take with me. :) Thanks for the comment. 👍👍

      You've hit the nail on the head, Andy. Where I live, the R6 is about twice the price of the 90D. If the ISO performance wasn't much better than the 90D, there'd be a lot of (rightly) unhappy customers.

      I changed the 90D for a RP but despite the RP delivering a better image, the final result after editing is not good, it's smooth d+++ image from the full frame sensor. Sensor cm or 90D the cropped image has more life! Example, macro shot of RP vs 90D, RP with crop is a false smoothed result and 90D is the opposite! I imagine that with the R6 it must be the same, for having a full frame sensor!

      @SeanMiller318  Před rokem +1

      When I use the crop mode in the R6, it's usually just to get more reach with my zooms. I've not tried using the crops for macro work. Thanks for the comment.

    I just got a 90d about 2 months ago and love it.. but wonder about the purpose of comparing the 90d and R6?? Did anyone think the 90d would live up to the low light performance of the R6? I mean, to compare a aps-c crop sensor dslr to a full frame mirrorless is comparing apples to oranges here.

    • @SeanMiller318
      @SeanMiller318  Před rokem +1

      I did the comparison for people who are thinking of upgrading from 90D to R6 for low light capabilities. I upgraded for that reason because I didn't expect them to be comparable. Thanks for the comment. :)

      @@SeanMiller318 ahhh, gotcha.. I often wonder about switching/ upgrading to mirrorless.. don't think I'd go with the R6 ( just for the pricing) but seriously want the R7. My good buddy just got it and he is absolutely loving it.

      I have a 90d and i would like to upgrade to R6 due to ISO performance.. this why the video come to me through the algorithm.. but After all I would not change crop sensor in this kind of photography.. maybe a R7 Is the right choice

    I wanted the 90d but figured I’ll settle for a canon ff mirror less. This is helpful. What do you recommend? 90d is only 700 bucks.

    • @SeanMiller318
      @SeanMiller318  Před rokem +1

      That is a tricky question, because I like them both. If they were the same price, I'd say get the R6. But $700 for a 90D is a good deal. Your budget, your decision on that one. :) Thanks for the comment.
