@@ishitachakrabarty1808 I would actually use the library and 2nd hand books from IHEID student's group. IHEID is pretty separated to UNIGE.

Hey ! thank you very much ! I'm not at uni anymore and I used to live at my parents house ... As Geneva is in the Schengen space you can live in france as well: Annemasse, Saint Genis Pouilly or Ferney voltaire are the closest French city next to geneva

Salut, j’aimerais savoir si il y a des masters en économie management où les cours sont en français à Genève. Le loyer pour un logement est à combien, pense-tu que à Annecy ou en Anemasse c moins cher et plus rentable
Hey ! Alors pour economie et management à l'unige ça s'appelle GSEM. J'ai regardé et il me semble que le Master est en anglais ( à vérifier). Pour les loyers ça varie mais c'est beaucoup plus cher qu'en France. Alors pour vivre en France tu as le choix entre le côté "Pays de Gex " avec Saint genis pouilly et ferney voltaire qui sont bien deservis et sinon le côté haute Savoie avec Annemasse. Annecy est beaucoup trop loin et c'est pas hyper bien deservi. Si tu compare avec les villes que je t'ai donné juste avant, elles ont soit des tram soit des bus qui vont à Genève et à l'université.
C'est plus rentable de vivre en France mais après ça dépend aussi de tes préférences et de ton budget

The student life is pretty good, the uni has tons of clubs that you can join. French is one of the official language in Switzerland ( the orthers are german and italian). So most of the time I speak French but you can also speak in english everyone will understand you. So I would say both are fine. For the courses most of them are in French but some are in English like in economics and management.

Tu peux te faire exonérer des frais si tu est seul ou chez tes parents. Sinon à l'année c'est 1000 francs normalement. Tu peux trouver les infos sur le site de l'unige "exoneration unige"

So if you want to do a phd in geneva you'll have to write a thesis and I just ask a friend whose doing a phd in science of education in geneva and it is possible to write your thesis in english. You can also go on the website of science of education, they published all the informations about phd

@@azizaben7863 It will depends on if you learned french as your first language at school ( high-school ) I think, and if it's written on your high-school certificate (It'll be a proof that you learned french for a long time) but once again I recommend you to send an email and ask just in case 🤔

Yes they have medecine but it's in french.Unfortunely, human medecine is not for non swiss student.But everything else is available in french ( i think) and don't forget that

Bonjour, oui c'est faisable car c'est ce que je fais ^^ je vis à plus de 7km de Genève et c'est faisable . Même avec le corona les étudiants sont excusés pour passer la frontière au cas ou et après lunige fait les cours en ligne. Le seul truc c'est les temps de transport mais il y a des trams qui relient geneve avec la haute Savoie et le pays de gex 😄
