Hi, the feedrates on the video look more like 400-600 mm/min instead of 2500mm/min. What are realistic feedrates for profile cutting mdf/plywood cleanly?
Hi there! Goliath maximum feedrate (no load) is of 2500mm/min (100ipm). For cutting MDF we suggest 2,5m/min, for plywood 2m/min :)

How will the Goliath deal with the wheels rolling over pockets and wide dado cuts?
Hello Ron! Goliath carves pockets or drills large holes after cutting all the profiles, so there is no risk of it falling in to make the other cuts in the machining process.

Hi I find your project amazing, which is the maximum thickness that the robot is able to cut? It is only for wood or you can cut other materials, if yes which one?
Hello there! Goliath can cut a maximum of 58 mm (~2 in). The machine can work a wide range of materials - panels- including woods (plywood, MDF, bamboo, solid wood), plastic sheets to thin layers of aluminum :)
@@GoliathCNC 😲 this is too cool. As an engineer I am amazed by the concept, and when you said Aluminium you got me!! I would have this idea, if you replaced the cutting tips with coating of Titanium, or nitrates coated materials such as TiN, you have a harder tip without change the design of the robot, you simply sell an additional cutting tip without changing the design(cost zero).This would upgrade your robot without massive investments , probably only in a tube that brings lubricants and or fresh air and you have an easy commercialisation.There are companies that makes PVD coatings on cutting tools. If this would work you can cut steel easily…. If this will works guys I would deserve at least a one free Goliath 😂.

Woah, might help if on the dollars button you swapped the comma and the decimal formatting. It made the machine look like it cost three hundred and ninety thousand dollars..

Can it machine a 3600 x 1800 sheet
The sensor system gives Goliath CNC a work area of a bit less than 3 x 2.5 m (9.8 x 8.5 ft). Since Goliath and the sensors are portable, the work area can be easily extended, making it virtually unlimited. :)
Buongiorno, guardò questa bellissima macchina da molto tempo purtroppo io lavoro ferro e metalli. C’è in cantiere il progetto per potergli abbinare un laser o un plasma? Sarebbe una bomba! Ma immagino che alte temperature e gomme non andrebbero d’accordo.

Mancavano gli intarsi sui pavimenti.
Goliath permette di creare delle tasche sul pannello quindi l'intarsio è sicuramente realizzabile :)
