    The Dog can sense it is no real danger it treats the situation for exactly what it is. The robber comes out with arm and hand extended, the woman extends out her hand towards him, this is a sign of cooperation, then they do some weird dance together. This is not how violent robberies take place.

      @dunjak111 Před 7 měsíci

      Exactly. Some dogs may respond with aggression, flee, freeze, start playing, etc.. Its just shows, that this dog was well socialized, when it was a puppy.
      If you own a protective dog, you need to watch for *every* corner on your walks, because somebody may come rushing around it. You always need to be alerted, in case the dog makes a misinterpretation. That is very stressful and you dont want that in daily life..

    my family had three dogs at one time: our own; my gran’s, a yorkshire terrier; and a friend’s, a staffordshire terrier, while she was on holiday. the staffordshire was a mild though energetic thing. the yorkshire could be an annoying whiny mutt who would sometimes whine for hours for no reason and would often poop in the kitchen or wherever else she pleased without asking to be let out, so i often got angry with her and would try to discipline her and so on, and didn’t think there was any affection between us at all. during this time i was being paid by the friend to walk the staffordshire every day while she was away, so i’d take all three out. one day i was playing with the staffordshire with a tug rope in the yard prior to the daily walk with them all. all of a sudden the yorkshire got very angry and started aggressively going for the staffordshire with abandon. the staffordshire didn’t know what to do, didn’t bite back at all, and just retreated pretty quickly across the yard away from the yorkshire, who chased her away from me, nipping at her neck and yapping fiercely all the while, for several yards. this was very out of character for the yorkshire, and it only lasted a moment, after which all three dogs resumed their normal pre-walk excitement. it was very touching.
