    FYI for those who were asking. I installed this on my 2023 KLR650s model. It worked great on lowest setting. It was easy to lift up on center stand. No issues with kickstand. It bolted right on with the longer supplied bolts.

    Is it compatible with the 650 s models?

    Still teh same problem as with previous versions and the SW Motec centre stand. Lifting the bike up onto the stand torques the mounting plates and quickly knocks the right side foot peg bracket screws lose. Unless you tighten and torque them after every single use of the stand you can wait for the threads in the frame to give up. Not good.

      This is not an issue that's ever been reported. I've been running these stands for years without an issue like this. E-mail support@happy-trail.com and we'll see if we can figure out what's going on with yours.

    Is this one adjustable like the previous versions so you can vary the height?....thanx.

    • @HappyTrailsMoto
      @HappyTrailsMoto  Před 2 lety

      Yes, this one is adjustable as well so you can set the height appropriately.

    Will this stand work with hard mounted foot pegs? Additionally not shown would I assume rubber grommets on the inside need removed and inserts on outside can remain in place?

    • @IdahoDualSport
      @IdahoDualSport Před 8 měsíci

      Rubber grommets are the vibration isolation, those stay on with the centerstand with everything else. We just send longer bolts to go through everything. Can't say for sure about the footpegs you're going to use but they have to mount to those same 2 bolt hole locations so it's all about the length of the bolt and getting that right. Long enough to get all the way through but not too long that they bottom out on the frame. Should be pretty easy to figure that out though.

    Where did you get your center stand? I got one from Amazon and it won’t fit my 2023 KLR650. The mounting brackets are too narrow.

      We manufacture them. You can get one here: www.happy-trail.com/happy-trails-adjustable-centerstand-kawasaki-klr650e-2022.html The ones on Amazon or eBay are chinese rip-offs and they are junk. Ours are USA made

    I would also like to know if it is compatible with the 650 S model?

    • @HappyTrailsMoto
      @HappyTrailsMoto  Před 10 měsíci

      Yes it is. Guys have been running it on the lowest adjustment on the S model.

    Does this retain the full clearance of the bike? thanks

    • @HappyTrailsMoto
      @HappyTrailsMoto  Před 2 lety +1

      All center stands will slightly lower the clearance of the bike.

    Can you use a foot peg lowering kit with this stand?

    • @HappyTrailsMoto
      @HappyTrailsMoto  Před 9 měsíci

      You should be able to just fine but you might need longer bolts to get through the centerstand and the lowering kit all together. We could send longer bolts if you request them on the order. Also, nice name @xnihilo :)

    What were the torque specs?

    • @HappyTrailsMoto
      @HappyTrailsMoto  Před 2 lety +1

      After further review it looks like there is very little thread engagement so the torque spec is 18 ft/lbs on the footpeg bolts.
