- This is the ultimate version of the RB26DETT Engine. This is the Godzilla of all Skylines, the R34 GTR Vspec 2 NUR edition, a twin turbo inline 6 cylinder engine that has a total output of 400 horsepower. Limited to only 718 units worldwide, this monster of a Japanese sports car is very rare. Some say that this is the penultimate version, whilst the Z-Tune GTR built by Nismo is the ultimate, we beg to differ.

I love the 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur. Absolutely the best JDM sports car to date.
Yes you can get a lambo or Ferrari but the GTR will still go up in price.

The Spec II Nur sure is a legendary iconic vehicle. But don't forget the M Spec Nur, as that's the BEST OF THE BEST!
Drew Briggs both good but Mspec is heavier and has luxuries so true car is the Vspec 2 nur
M Spec doesnt have the racing suspension the V Spec has.
The mspec is literally the non racing version of the vspec. Great car but fractionally heavier seats, no carbon fibre bonnet and softer suspension. Vspec everyday for me.

My unlce owns an r34 gtr. I have been trying to con him to buy it as he is getting on in age and getting sick, But i have had many spinal fusions and so on and he won't sell it to me, as every time i have been in it and under power it hurts my spine. And he he is scared I'm gonna hurt myself. But i swear before i die i am gonna by one. I checked you out on the internet and you have done really well for yourself and really are someone to look up to. After i hurt myself i was young only 23. I had a young family and i was really down and in 6 years i have had 13 ops, spent so much time in hospital feeling sorry for myself got told ill never work again and so on. A few months ago i changed the way of thinking of how you can maket money. Not working for anyone taking control of my assets and so on and doing pretty well nothing to much yet but one day i hope to be like someone like yourself.

I have already fought my family members who wanted it for money reasons only. And i dont think they are gonna give up even know they have been told its mine and nothing they can do about it. But has to many memories to sell and even know i cant enjoy it 100% my son will one day or maybe my daughters

The people who own this car are proper car guys because you can get a McLaren 675LT or a Lamborghini Huracan performonte for about $400,000 so they have to really like it to buy one
And then on the other hand the people who do buy these are collectors just like exotic car owners and it will sit around never being driven in a garage

As a collector car, I have no problem for it to be sitting in the garage most of the time and only drive it out as and when needed to flex its muscles around. The car is getting old, getting parts for it will be hard as time goes by. And when u cant get genuine part, u have to settle with used part or 3rd party parts. As a collector i want it to be as genuine as possible. Hence, maintaining it in a pristine condition.

I have owned a turbo'd r33gtst which was painted midnight purple by the previous owner who had it. Was a manual. Absolutely loved it for the 2 years I owned it but people say they're the boat of the skylines. Anyway I like the r34s up to the rear quarter panel but dislike the squarish rear end, something just doesn't look right when I look at the rear end of an R34. Everything but the rear end is mint to me
The problam with these cars now is that as incredible as they are they are so out of reach for the avarage person and i think the biggest problam u will have is parts and sourcing them from oem:( its the only car ive ever wanted as a kid even now im still in awww.
You can get all the parts new from nismo, they started manufacturing all the parts for gtrs from the original casts
Nismo has a catalogue for all the original parts. Expensive, but you can buy the parts

6 years ago, I was about to buy the GTR R34 straight from japan. I made the mistake.
Not worth it. Overrated at the prices people want
Personally I like to love rare cars like this from a distance. The idea of a car being a garage queen sitting around never being driven due to rarity and cost just doesn't sit well with me. I just dont agree that you can enjoy a car by looking at it sit in your garage being a giant paperweight. I would do a base model BNR34 every day of the week over a V-Spec II NUR or M-Spec Nur. However the rarity is cool just to say that you've seen one.

That's not even a comparison, these cars attract very different crowds and type of drivers. If you are confused on your choice between the two it means you have no idea what kind of driver you are or what your style is. BNR34s and JZA80s are not cross shopping cars.

How about got out and actually learn something about cars before trying to decide on literally the 2 most fanboy cars of this generation. The fact that these are your only two options shows you don't know how many great cars there are out there. So many better/ more bang for your buck cars out there.
A r34 itâs about 50.000$-100.000$(if itâs v spec, v spec ii), so itâs not that much(compared to a Ferrari).

Beautiful example. I'm not sure the R34 GT-R is worth their price tag these days, but it must be worth whatever someone is willing to pay hey. Unlimited funds I'd choose this, but the R33 GT-R for the money seems more worth it to me haha

How low are you sitting in the car? You look to be sitting quite high. I'm not a fan of cars with a high seating position.
