You do the best videos because you explain what your doing and show the settings and how they make and affect the sound. Most video demo's show off a bunch of obnoxious guitar licks and very little about the pedal in question. All your videos are super and informative about the pedal you are demonstrating. OD-1 is one of the Best pedals I've ever come across. At first, it seems it doesn't do alot It doesn't give a lot of gain or Overdrive compared to Other pedals. But what it does do, it does better than any single Pedal I've come Across. It Takes the Fuzz Out of The Sound. Leaving A Tight Bottom End Chug. And a Crisp Lead. Best Pedal Ive Owned... 30yrs Now!!. That And The Crybaby . OD-1 Get.!!!! You will Not be disappointed 😋
Nice pedal, why did they discontinue this? The SD-1 is still sold just because it has a tone pot, I leave the tone in the middle always, I use my amp to get the treble I need.
With single channel amps, which overdrive pedals were originally designed for, can only have one eq setting. And that eq setting can be adjusted to favor your clean tone or your dirty tone, but not both. So having a tone knob on your pedal allows you to cater your amp to be tuned for your clean tone and adjust your tone for your dirty tone on your pedal

I like use the OD-1 for tube screamer drive, OD-2 for a drive like The Edge more crunchy drive and a DS-1 boosting for a bassy great dist.
