Wow!!!!! Adam Lambert is a phenomenal talent .. the drive in his voice is just incredible. I saw Queen & Adam Lambert perform in Melbourne, Australia and AL's voice is stunningly good live .. such vocal command .. such charisma, he brings such joy, such humour and in "Who wants to live forever" such pathos to the performance. He is over the top .. but if you run with it .. you get so caught up in the powerhouse rock voice and strutting around you just find yourself enthralled .. under a spell. Brian was so mesmerizing singing, his performance, his presence is very moving .. what a wonderful, caring, generous, inspirational man he is .. and the inclusion of Freddie on screen was so poignant. So very sad he is not here, but it is a tribute to the music they created how successful this touring has been and a credit that they can deliver such world class entertainment. I love, love, love Queen and am so happy they came to Australia and so thrilled they have such a brilliant singer to tour with. If you get a chance go see them . they are legends!

He's the only singer who is able to give me a RUSH when I hear him sing... I'm talking ADRENALINE!
It happened the first time 6 years ago when I was channel surfing and I stumbled on to Idol and saw this boy perform 'Satisfaction'. I didn't know what hit me then... His performance was playing in the back of my mind everyday after that n I just had this nagging urge to look him up n watch it again. He did something vocally crazy... something I've never experienced before. I didn't become an instant fan but I think it was at the point of 'Born To Be Wild' that I realized he's crazy good and then I found myself rooting for him to win. Then he did that epic performance with KISS n Queen and when he didn't win, I started to support him n his music n unknowingly became a Glambert, till this day!
All of us who have seen him with Queen on that Idol finale felt and knew there was an undeniable chemistry between them. They are soooo exciting together! Some think that it's serendipitous that they met but now, it's obvious - it's DESTINY!!! Adam was BORN for this!

Why Adam is the PERFECT heir to Freddie's Majesty.
    1. Brian and Roger both agreed Adam should continue Freddie's legacy. He made them feel young and lively while performing again.
    2. Adam shows great respect and maturity alongside these legendary musicians.
    3. Apart from giving his all in his singing, he repeatedly said he's not there to replace Freddie. He's merely there to continue his (and Queen's) legacy.
    4. His vocal quality, range and stage presence. I actually hear and see a bit of Freddie in him.

I think Adam sounds great--just don't care for the STL song much, whether he's singing or Freddie's singing. Nobody can compare to Freddie singing his/Queen songs--he's one-of-a-kind and that's great. I just prefer Adam's voice. I became a Queen fan when Adam became the front man for them. Had not been that impressed with Freddie or Queen till then--not my favorite genre of music. One of my favorite Queen songs is WWTLF. When Adam sings it, it's quite moving and beautiful. And I've heard him sing many non-Queen songs (including some he wrote) - has an exceptional voice. I try not to compare Adam (or Freddie) to anyone else when I listen to the music. They are each unique--have learned a lot about each by watching videos of their performances and reading bios (per the web) on each. Freddie was very gifted and so is Adam. I have much respect for the struggles and journey Freddie experienced in his life as an artist and individual. And I have as much respect for Adam as an artist and individual, for his own struggles and the journey he is experiencing now in the music world and in his personal life. As I would have wished for Freddie, I wish only good things for Adam.

+Jess Dela Fuente Yes. Adam sounded quite good on this song...his own version, but it worked. Have heard some other songs he did with Queen and wasn't as good, but maybe I was subconsciously comparing to Freddie at the time. If Adam keeps rocking it out like this one, looking forward to more.

I agree 100%. When I saw him on American Idol. The irt thing I thought was that the guys should scoop him up quick and tour with Adam. Bonus is he's just as flamboyant, wears snazzily clothing, and he has mad respect for Freddie and Queen

***** Vocal range by definition means the span of notes a vocalist is able to produce, meaning that you have to include the lower notes as well, regardless of what people "care about". Facts are that Freddie had a four octave range (F2-F6) while Adam's is just over 3 (G#2-B5), both excluding spoken/fry notes.
Even when we only consider high notes, Freddie could go significantly higher than Adam, simply because he comfortably could go well into the 6th octave both live and in the studio. The only advantage Adam has over Freddie is when we're talking about "full voice". Adam is able to seamlessly move into a very heady and in my opinion rather thin sounding register that could be considered "full voice".
