- California Winter Storm: An atmospheric river storm hit Northern California and is expected to bring more rain through the week. Flood watch and storm warnings are in effect through Friday morning for many areas. Multiple feet of snow are forecast in the Sierra.

Northern California's Sacramento Valley is in big, big trouble. There is literally no end in sight. Most of the reservoirs will soon be at capacity with maximum outflows. The state is facing a catastrophe the likes of which hasn't been seen in over 25 years. If you live in Sacramento or points north, secure your property and possessions and move to higher ground. The levy system will not hold back what's coming. It was only a matter of time before another rainy season like this arrived.

It's seems the reporter is blaming the victims who died for trying to cross the water which I'm sure wasn't intentional but was fight or flight mode and panic trying to save themselves while making a rash decision. Smh

@@0230Raveena I put up a.wall of sandbags and have a pump ready cuz I live under burn scar .So I have prepared,but I also realize that you are right and I do feel for those people,but we do need all the rain that we can get because we are in a serious drought

@@truckermax1 If I am then that's my own fault .I feel bad for people who have lost homes ,but we are in a serious drought and this may be our last chance for rain and so far this storm has fallen far short of expectations.People should have learned the lessons from 1997
