A Day In The Life Of A Typical Ghanaian Market Woman | Living in Ghana| Life in Ghana on low income
HELLO AGAIN FROM GHANA. Since I enjoy making these videos as i believe it gives you a glimpse into the Ghanaian culture as well some facts about Ghana. I decided to speak to one of the women who sells in these Market areas in Ghana. This Ghanaian woman makes a small living from selling Ghanaian doughnuts, her enthusiasm and hard work is so inspiring. I learnt a lot in our short interview, spending a day in her life in Ghana together, and I hope you do the same. I believe this is one of the best ways to show tourists how a majority of the Ghanaian community lives, as well as give a glimpse into the Ghana culture.
I hope you enjoy this video x

Wow, Aunty B is the definition of an entrepreneur! She makes quality products by adding eggs where her competitors don't, looked out for other opportunities when corn business was seasonal, she's hygenic, she was very open with you about her work and is an early riser. Imagine the heights some of these businesses could go to if they had support and collaboration. And look at you, making documentaries of real Ghana life!! Brilliant!

I love this video. She's a true boss lady! She is sooooo clean! I kept looking at her workstation, the environment, and even where the doughnuts are placed in. I wonder if she would be interested in partnership as in being a head chef at a cafe or bakery and create her own menu? Suggestion: since you have contacts in packaging perhaps look at supplying small brown paper bags to street vendors like her to package their finger food in instead of the see through plastic (hot food+plastic 😕) . If you could mass supply it cheaply, it would help to alleviate the plastic problem in Accra.
Second, there are a number of people in the comments who are interested in supporting her to scale up. Perhaps, set up a goFund me for her, or channel the funds through an organization like Opportunity International to come up with a plan for her to increase production and sales.

I've got to admit that I watched both videos (this and that of Ato) with mixed emotions - joy and sorrow. Joy for their hard work, perseverance (despite the difficult challenges) and the entrepreneurial spirit that characterize many Africans. But also sorrow for how little they earn for all that work. Let's keep working to uplift our people; they deserve better!!!

I like to see your videos, they are very interesting to me, keep up the good work.
On the other hand you are a very smart and young beautiful lady as well. Even though I am a hispanic Guy, (I'm from Mexico) I like to know and learn about other different cultures and see real life situations or topics. Definitely I want to go to Africa one day, it is capturing me by many reasons.

Really enjoyed this video. Thank you for your dedication to bringing top quality content. This was a cool documentary. You were able to capture the strength a d grace of the African woman! Look at how gracefully she maneuvers thru the streets with her supplies on top of her head. Beautiful. Success is in her future now with this exposure.😘

Thank you so much Jasmine for giving this woman a platform. We sometimes overlook the poorer people but their lives and their industries are important to society too! I loved the peaceful setting where she was making the dough, I could hear people worshipping God and singing in the background. In fact, the whole place was peaceful and quiet. 🕊 🕊 🕊
