Estonians are LESS racist towards to black people comparing to Russians in Russia. Estonian culture is different than the culture in USA. In USA this racist n-word is not a racist word in Estonia. It means black like this spanish word negro means black. I'm only letting you know if you visit Estonia. Mostly the life in Estonia is quite good. No pollution, a lot of forest, cool leisure activity places in Tallinn.
TERE, This is so true as my Estonian friends greet me and say What up my Neeeee GA when I lived there in 2018. It is not racists and I am not offended by it since it is in the culture and language. I even have hung out with my Russian boys in Lasnamae and had no issues. I used to live in Nomme and that is filled with mostly old people though. Although I used to also hang out in Tartu. I plan on moving back there for good since I am in Canada for the moment. Also don't forget that people should visit the meteor crater in Saarraema,

Definitely go visit Tallinn, but take a long weekend, not a day cruise. And although I used to go along time ago mainly because of the cheap alcohol (it's btw cheap already on the ship, you don't have to even set foot to Estonia for that), nowadays I go because of the mezmerisingly beautiful old town and all the fantastic restaurants and cafés. The places have personality over there, and it's much easier to find good, interesting food than in for example Helsinki.
To the old town I've been over a dozen times, and I still always find something new, getting lost in the winding medieval streets. The Telliskivi hipster area is cool too, and the Rotermanni quarter is a really interesting modern urban area. Oh and the Estonian people are fun.

Helsinki has fantastic restaurants compared with Tallinn. Everybody are fun compared with Finnish people ;)

@@kristianhansen5057 Good that at least someone has experienced Helsinki like that. I didn't during the ten years or so in the area, I live in Stockholm now, which is almost as bland on average as Helsinki compared to Tallinn.
The 100 €/person/dinner places I do not go to in either Hki or Sto, so I am not commenting on the full palette of options.

Estonia is very easy to visit from Helsinki, if you live in Helsinki. Quick weekend trip to Tallinn is super easy. Done the same from Tallinn to Helsinki
Most Estonians understand finnish because the languages are so similar and they used to show finnish TV shows in Estonia. You can actually go to Tallinn, Estonia from Helsinki for like 10€ and the alcohol is about half the price there so people who live near Helsinki go quite often to Tallinn for a day to buy alcohol.

Yeah. My family who live like 2h drive North east of Helsinki, and they travel to Tallinn all the time. It's easy, convenient and cheap.

In my opinion it’s time to let Estonia be a nice small Nordic country. Estonia very deserves to be a Nordic country, because Estonia has done a lot of work, we have many smart people, we are good at digital things, we have northern lights and we are very similar to Finland and other Nordic countries like: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Greenland. We are not similar to Latvia and Lithuania and the other Eastern Europe countries. It’s time to stop calling Estonia Eastern Europe country and Baltic country and forget all this terrible, rude and mean Soviet times. Let’s just stop this Eastern Europe and Soviet stigma thing and let Estonia turn the new page and let them be a normal small Nordic country next to Sweden and Finland!!! Estonians call themselves the Nordic country and many other people and tourists had also said that Estonia should be a Nordic country, because Estonian people are Finnic people not Balts and we are more similar to Scandinavia. Yes many people had agreed with that Estonia must belong to the Nordic group and seperate from Latvia and Lithuania. They don’t even need these countries, because Estonians communicate more with Finns and other Scandinavian countries. Estonia will be a very good partner for the other Nordic countries. We will do a very great work and we will be very strong!!!

@@DaddiDiesel Nope because prices are high like Germany but salaries are 3 time smaller. + Dentists costs..only check of mouth /theeth 50 euro , one theet root canal treatment 500 euro ( 1 euro = 1,18 USD )

I am estonian and I do not understand finnish at all, misconception, a big one.
Estonia isnt actually that small as people think , its bigger t han Switzerland,Belgium,Netherlands and many countries... i think its top ~133 "biggest" country in the world out of ~205
